Autopsies are done by medical doctor. A postmoterm (after death) care is not done by medical doctor. Nurses, nursing assistants etc all perform postmoterm care too when a patient dies at bedside. The mortician's job is a very noble profession. We need education as a society on Ghana to understand different terminologies and not jump to conclusions. Postmoterm and autopsy are generally used interchangeably but totally different in meaning and who performs them.

It do happens, cos I have experience that before with my eyes. We those from small village where there is no need to send a body tomortuary, and the body needs to be burried the next day, we give the body Maggy salt solution to drink. After that, the next day we burry the body.
