it is a little late to comment this but thank you. I think I started watching this when you had around 10 videos on this. I was kinda avoiding it because it wasn't pokemon and I didn't really care about the commercials but then I thought "hey, he's done a few videos on it so it must be good." So I started watching this and it looked like a really fun game and I watched the anime and just loved the idea so I bought the game with my own money (which was a lot because I'm only 10). I couldn't stop playing it and now I like it a little more than pokemon. I'm on about episode 70 because I've been watching the sub since season 2 and the dub is gonna come out soon. Yo-kai Watch makes me so happy, thank you.
the danceing is fun as well. you going to try getting the 2ed game? your going to need a save picture from you yokai cam in less than 2 hours so you can get a specal coin from a man in the 2ed game. ill let you pick 3 rare yokais.
Orange, don't back out of Yo-kai encounters! You might befriend one of the other enemy Yo-kai that the encountered Yo-kai had brought along! Also, the additional money and EXP you get doesn't hurt.

+MunchingOrange, you probably know this by now, but the town, Springdale, was originally called "Sakura" in the Japanese version of the game. It's a very simple name, (And overused in anime standards.) so there's that.
this is like 5 months laterm but MO you will LOVE this: You know the flash, and you know this. You know how harrison wells was a betrayer. So is the other dude, whisper. He wants to steal your skill, he knows a little bit about yo kai, then uses that magazine to help him. Then he steals the watch and traps you! Please excuse me as i have not watched the whole series and this is wrong, but still...
Level 5 also did Ni No Kuni, which also featured cute collectable creatures not visible in the real world. I really enjoyed Ni No Kuni. Though the story was often infuriating.
In response to what you where questioning at around 14:50 to 14:57: Yokai in Japanese lore are created in a similar way as evil ghosts. Usually the product of mass amounts of negative emotions that leave a lasting effect on the spirit. There other ways and not all yokai are necessarily going to be straight evil or murderous but a lot of the old tales portray a lot of yokai that are. Yokai have connection to Shinto so there would be multiple . TL;DR: Their names would likely not come from god(s) for the most part : )
+Pieman Ive watched 60 episodes of the anime (subbed). and ive clocked 42 hours into the game. ive played every previous pokemon game, and i honestly like yokai watch much better.
When a human dies in yokai watch they will go turn into yokai like whisper so technically they were humans and they're yokai forms have some thing to do with theyre cause of death EX: coughkoff most likely died from an illness
