I remember I somehow received this 7'inch as a freebie promo, from a order I had placed from a old paper version of TWO TONE CATALOG, when I listened to it I fell in love shortly after I seen them when they came thru- Sacramento,... never will forget how great the old mail order dayz where...bring it back keep it real, keep it...well' D.I.Y.!!!
Early Blink-182 was heavily influenced by Jawbreaker. They have said so in interviews. Also Screeching Weasel, Lifetime, and the Descendants came before Blink and influenced second-wave pop punk.
Shame Dawg yeah I remember screeching weasel and the descendants being big influences for them. Too bad they don’t incorporate those influences in their music too much, I know people move on but y’know
I didn’t know until your comment, funny enough I’ve recently been scanning 90s era skate vids to find bands to listen to but here I am listening to jawbreaker for the millionth time and finding a new film to watch. Odd how the world works.
This is the first Jawbreaker song I ever heard. My friend put it on a mixed tape in 10th grade. Changed my life!
Same here and it was a band that was great live,as well as nice guys
I was 14 in high school UK.
This band simply does not disappoint
Very good power mélodie song. Jawbreaker was find post-punk band, with my 54 years old, i love them....
This amazing 7" was the first ever record to get me into this incredible genre!
Oh, that poor sap that gave this a thumbs down...

Sounds like Blink-182 was influenced by the beginning riff of Busy. It sounds kinda like the first riff of Joise 🤔

It sounds like the beginning to a Dag Nasty song to me, off of Can I Say
Was this the crimpshrine split e.p.?

Better than "Want".
Is that Kerouac?
