I tried it for the first and the flavours absolutely blew me up.. the fruit, spicy flavours just burst in your mouth.. I think this is better than even Glenfiddich scotch which I love before I tasted Amrut fusion.

I'll try this after lockdown..
This was available in US last year. I had tried it. Its really nice. I do not like scotch but I was surprised that I liked it. Now I know its because it had only 30% pitted Barley. Thank you Dada Bartender, Your videos are really informative

Dada Amrut fusion mein jo barley use hota hai wo usually Himalayan foot areas se procure kiya jata hai aur kuch northern India se..lekin uska jo smokiness ka taste lane keliye jo peat ( kind of coal, but not exactly ) woh mangaya gaya hai scotland se. Phir job done type ke barley ko peat ka smoke 💨 diya jata hai to Banta hai fusion of eastern barley and western peat. Phir isko distillation karke alcohol ko ex bourbon oak cask mein mature kiya jata hai . Sayad Indian climate ke hisab Se 3-4 saal keliye .
Aur haan yeh Ek non chill filtered Whisky hai . Aur isme koi colour add nahin kiya gaya hai .
Tasting note : bit smokey , spicy , mouth watering lingering taste , chocolate, mint .
Bangalore mein Iska price Abhi 3300 ke. As pas hai . Pehele 3600 ki ati thi .
(Mein already iska 4 bottle Khatam kar chuka Hun ) 😉

I heard Fusion has an ABV of 50%. Where is it mentioned? On the box it states 42.8% v/v. What is the difference between both the terminology?

What is the price of Amrut?
Dada, can you clear a confusion I have after watching this review. I live in Toronto Canada, recently bought an Amrut Fusion my Amrut is 40% ABV while the one you reviewed is at 42.8%, is this different for different markets. I would also mention that my Amrut even though is at 50% ABV it tastes as if it has very low ABV. To end snow excellent dram

if peated barley is sourced from scotland then it is not truly indian but as you said its a fusion of east and west...and that must be adding to the price....what is the significance of the label showing 1948 was amrut distilleries established in that year(@6:32)?

Such a nice whisky in test spices are well blended in this ..amrut and rampur and Paul jhon really good and sula wine also...
I think they can improve packaging... it can look much better and premium. current packaging is bit dated.

Ek peg mein Bas Ek spoon water hi add karna aur use 1-2 mnt ke baad peena , tab iska flavours Khulegi aur apko ish Whisky ka character pata chalega.
