FYI for anybody interested, these are all of the VLT tint percentages directly from AGV (not, "I saw it on a forum" somewhere).
These are all the tint shades/colors they produce, but not all colors are available on all shield and/or visor models.
Clear = 90%
Clear + Pinlock = 80%
Yellow = 90%
Rainbow = 80%
Blue = 50%
Light Smoke = 50%
Dark Smoke = 20%
Iridium Blue = 10%
Iridium Silver = 10%
Iridium Gold = 10%
Be aware that the iridium tints must just be a spray on coating, as I saw another review where the individual warned that he had used a cleaner on his face shield (not just mild soap and water) and he "cleaned" off the iridium coating. It appeared that the remaining tinted shield after the iridium coating was gone looked like the dark smoke, but I don't know for sure. I got exactly the same helmet with the blue tinted visor - disposed of my Shoei Air GT2 thereafter...
Furthermore, I am also extremely happy with my AGV Pista RR (again with the blue tinted visor) for the occasional track days!
How has the tinted visor held up over the year?

It’s an awesome helmet. Only down side is the ventilation in summer but besides that it’s a great helmet. Thanks for watching and supporting. More videos soon.
I got the same helmet but in nardo grey, its a good helmet the only problem is its too hot in summer.. agv corsa r or pista rr has a summer liner that keeps u cool in summer and u can turn it for winter to keep u warm. the k6 doesnt have this feature, other than that the helm is good
“Fish tank look” lol never thought of that but it’s really a good description hahaha. I tried this one on yesterday and I agree the interior lining was the first thing I noticed. The comfort and feel was amazing… how does it hold up a year later?
Still going strong. I love my K6. I use it for my Moto Vlogs. I can’t really think of anything too bad to say about it. Great helmet.

Always better and safer to wear gear. Thanks for the comment. This is an awesome helmet. I would recommend it. But the air flow lacks. So not good for hot weather riding.

I like the k6, but the cons like wind screen latch issues, only ~ average noise performance, not the greatest for low noise, Chinese made, no interior drop down sun shade, not the best cooling design, lower quality components i.e. clunky switch gear, not great cooling performance, chin touching the interior of the chin guard without a repositioning check and exercise every time I put it on, keep me from being interested enough to buy it - right now. Regarding the sport modular, other than color selections which I don't like - and all I'm looking for is plain white throughout, the sport modular at least gives me the drop down sun shade and the modular function, this helmet more suits my needs but at a hefty $750. although close to being great, neither the k6, nor sport modular are sorted out enough for my buying. agree they are in the top few of their market, but I'm looking for their cons to be improved so we can all confidently call either of these helmets GTEAT, and an absolute "no brainer buy". as they are sold now though, both need improvement before I spend my money. I wear glasses all the time, so being able to comfortably = no pressure points and easy on/off of the glasses are both basic and important attributes of any high quality helmet, and if a helmet no mater how great, causes problems in this area, it will not be on my buy list. Right now, I'm using a SHOEI, RF-SR, certainly not great but it was only $300 + tax is what I paid for it in 5/2020, Snell and DOT, with good comfort & descent performance numbers. I'll keep rocking this lid until a no brainer helmet comes along, or until I find another compromise piece .
If you can only have one helmet the SPORT MODULAR is one of those helmets. Its a premium helmet with all the bells and whistles. But it's an AGV so it's built to perform to accommodate the sporty riders but comfortable enough to work well for the touring riders. Best of both worlds I would say. The reason I purchased the Sport Modular helmet was because I got lucky and got it on sale at Revzilla. If you pick one up one day you'll probably won't regret it.
Hey Elvis just a heads up I posted that video of the sport modular helmet. Not really an comparison to the k6 but just some of my thoughts on the helmet.
@@jesseonamotorcycle Watched this video. First of all I really like your bike! Secondly, that also is a great review of the sport modular. Stock is quite limited, my K6 order didn't happen. I'll be ordering the sport modular, trying to find my size and at a good price is what I'm working on now. Ultimately, I'll end up with the sport modular. Thanks Mr Jesse!
Is it good for the summer?
Yes I would say its not the worst choice for summer riding. The air flow is not the greatest though keep that in mind. I get WAY more airflow on my AGV SPORT MODULAR helmet.

Sorry if I missed it , how is it riding with it night time ? Is it as limited as cheaper brands or can you see as bright as with clear visor ?

It’s hard to ride at night. It’s only for day use only. I would recommend bring a change of shield.
@@jesseonamotorcycle thank you for getting back to me, I see, it’s the only thing that bothers me with non clear visors , it looks cool af daytime but most of the time I’m out riding until after sunset and it’s a little headache having to carry extra visor and what I used to do is just ignore it and ride less safe which is why I stopped using them . Do you feel the visibility is better than other brands if you tried others? I know it’s hard to answer as every brand differs
@@Grip3340 at night it’s really hard to see. Sometimes I have to open the visor just to be able to see at night. Sometimes I bring some clear shades with me if I know I’m going to ride after sunset.
@@jesseonamotorcycle I hear you , sometimes I use clear goggles under and keep the visor up if it’s foggy or raining and it’s a pain to keep cleaning to visor as you ride
Hey man, saw that the helmet has no extra sun visor... does it blind you when riding in the direction of the sun?
The tinted shield helps a lot! I would compare it to wearing sunglasses. It’ll be nice to have an external visor like a dirt bike helmet. But the tint alone does a good job. Of course not 100 percent protected from the sun.

How is this visor when its cloudy?
Not bad. You can see but the darker it gets the harder it is to see. Like looking through a dark tinted window.
I just got a nardo grey k6 how do I know which visors are compatible for my helmet?
