  • It is known that the word LASER is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Even though laser is a source of light it has some specific characteristic properties like coherence that distinguish it from an ordinary source of light.

    Excellent video. Well done... I heard at 2:27 you say negligible "diffraction" but I think you meant to say negligible "divergence". correct?

      i believe diffraction causes divergence

    At 2:30, you wrote that 10^-13 watts equals 10 terawatts, but it should be 10^13. (no negative sign).

    At 0:52, what is a phase relation among light waves? You did not define your terms. Temporal coherence? Polarized wave?
