I really admire the sibling love in this movie but I don't agree with the other comments here. If they really valued their sister, they would've listened to her when she didn't want to get married after her father-in-law asked for all of their wealth. I wouldn't have forgiven them in the end because her in-laws went back and forth on their word multiple times and the husband hurt her and her unborn child in the end. I would never send my sister back to such a man. What if he gets angry again and tries to hurt her or child in the future. That was an abusive household
There are 2 different endings to this movie. Another ending shows her being back at their house and Manivanan comes back again. It doesn't show her joining back with her husband. In this ending, the movie means her husband and FIL to have genuinely changed. But I get what you mean in the context of real life.
