I know that Steve Yeager was technical advisor for Major League and played one of the coaches
The Raiders have always had good punters starting with HOFER Ray Guy
That Gossett story reminds me of Randy Macho Man Savage the Wrestler-RIP, real name Randy Poffo was a minor league catcher in the Cincinnati Reds organization

Jeff Gosett from my Raiders. Watched the game that took him out. He was trying to save a touchdown on a punt return, he hit the runner to knock him out of bounds and Gosett knock himself out of the game. Lol
