I am not saying cold storage is not good. Unfortunately, these new coldstores are mostly used for storing imported chicken parts and meat stuff and are crippling the Ghanaian poultry industry.
@@akokorapiaw6855No you're rather missing the point. Cold store facilities are extremely needed for both export and import trades. They are used for multifacted products right from pharmaceutical products etc etc. So you can advocate for exports as well using these cold storage facilities. Ghana just needs business minded people who be allowed to go into local production and manufacturing or else importing becomes favorable due to high costs emanating from high taxes.
