I think even with cooling ruins this is still an overall nerf to a Imani as you miss out on the cooldown reduction on frost ball. The whole point of the cooldown reduction build is the near 100% uptime on your movement, frost bomb and the infernal cannon.
Imani is the only character I have over level 100. Of her three abilities Infernal cannon is probably the weakest right now since it doesn't apply cauterize. From my experience, the vast majority of infernal cannon's damage will get healed away. So you're kind of need the frost bomb up and always ready to get the root so you can secure the kill.

The disappearing hands and ice bolts not doing dmg isn't just in PTS. It happens to me with her on the main game as well. On another note, Did he say "ladies and GENITALS" at the beginning?? Lmao!!
You would be surprised how much healing is worth in Onslaught when Anti-healing takes 8:40 minutes to max out. Similar stuff in other non-Siege game modes. Things just don't die especially after their key word changes.

I honestly believe that you didn't understand the reason behind people's anger regarding these two cards. Let me explain, since Andrewchicken, who made a video, understood something, but not entirely. Why do these internal cooldowns really bother me personally and people within and outside of some communities? For years, it has been possible to spam Fire Cannon and Ice Bomb, even in the game today, as you showed in your video, there are several cards that significantly reduce the cooldowns, and it was seen that they are not overpowered, and no one has complained about it in all this time.
The reason for everyone's discontent is that people "want to play Imani in an aerial way, constantly in the sky," mainly based on dealing damage with the Fire Cannon and Ice Bomb abilities while flying and not using the character's basic attacks. They don't want to use cards that reduce the cooldowns of their main weapons, and this way of playing exists because of these two cards, which will put an internal cooldown of 5 seconds on them, nullifying this way of playing that I and many others currently enjoy occasionally in the game.
Why wasn't this a problem before, or why were there no complaints if it has always been there? This is due to the following reasons:
1. Imani is an easy target when flying.
2. Whether you use your Ice Bomb or Fire Cannon, you become vulnerable and an easy target for enemy fire.
3. Since you will only deal damage with these two aerial abilities, the first thing you and others need to do is switch between the Fire and Ice states to reduce the flight cooldowns, and so on. This takes time, during which you won't deal damage, and then you need to find a way to safely and strategically launch the abilities at a secure angle.
You also have to consider that there is damage reduction and Veteran, as well as people healing each other and shields from Fernando, Makoa, etc. So, as you can imagine, it's not as simple as it seems.
Your video was based on a more grounded gameplay of Imani and didn't focus on flying, and this is what I just explained to you.

no explanation needed thank you. I have been playing the game for long enough to know her issues and why many people don't play her, or why no one considered her Canon spam an issue. And I will honestly say that the true reason why there was never a huge amount of ppl abusing her it's cuz of her bugs. every patch there is a new bug and ppl grew tired of that bullshit, and If those bugs are fixed, she will then be played way more by many more ppl with a playstyles that it is not fair. an ability that all that is lacking is caut in it, since it already has insane burst, mobility and can even get u a free fire shot with the right cards that u can get back in less than 2 to 3 seconds. not to mention that it is not only for the fire Canon... but the frost bomb as well. that is not fair at all and those internal cooldowns were 100% deserved. and trust me... I played a lot of Imani over the time and I love to play her, but like everyone else... the bugs make me want to not even try her again. I can play her with those internal cooldowns and still do great... I think everyone else can put in the effort to learn how to adapt to her new playstyle as well.
@@Kreepers Internal cooldown on the card for the cannon and the ice bomb is fine, but why for the card that resets your flight? You cant reset your flight with other cards like the cannon and the ice bomb and they didnt even reduce the base cooldown of it like they did with the cannon and the ice bomb

She is one of the worst DPS champs in the game wdym
dunno where you got that info from. the only thing holding her back is the bugs. she can snipe, CC, delete hp like it is not. has a decent mobility and can penta kill like it's nothing as long as her team can work with her.
