I had the same issue with my daughter wanting to relax her hair at 11. I let her do it so she could have the experience. She hated it right away and decided to transition. Of course her hair ended up falling out, but as she transitioned, it grew back. She said she will never relax it again.

Something I recently started using before braid styles is the Tymo brush. Works perfectly.
Seems like she moved a lot and thankyou for ya mistake and correcting it I’m super excited wish you showed the hair you crochet and was it the the braiding
I think this style would probably be better on a wig, as it may last longer. Plus not having to straighten. But it looks pretty
