Just sold my charge 5 and bought that Treblab HD360.. and dude it was perfect. It is not too loud but that base and sound balance is really incredible.
2 things pop out at me that need clarity. I just got an JBL EX3 and so far its ample on my just ski and does good working outside around the house. The key for me is the portability + sound quality. JBL is shaped in a way it can be strapped down to unstable surfaces and get wet or dusty. Anything less than that - well its a nonstarter regardless how good it sounds. The whole point of these types of speakers should be "on the go" approach. Secondly is the sound wave density. Both speakers should be tested at 50 and 100% volume at varying yardage away since no one using them sits in front of it all the time. Loud is great unless the sound doesn't travel or loses fidelity / bass at insignificant distance. In this case the JBL is the safer bet for all around use.
Portability and sound quality are both subjective topics. Just because you prioritize portability more than sound quality doesn’t mean the majority of the public does as well. At all volumes the treblab smacks the JBL
@dillydilly4517 I'm saying the sound Q + portability = best for most of MY usage, which is work and play. Who in the public uses it for anything other than those 2? I know you're biased on the m this treblab but that's OK 👍
I think this comparison is great man. I think they are different purpose speakers which makes comparing them other than sound becomes hard. I see the Trelab as a speaker for your house in a nice room while the JBL is one you are taking to the park
If Treblab made this speaker for more outdoor portable I'd buy one, the sound balance seems perfect. I also would prefer buttons versus the touch type controls...
funny, after some minor equalizer tweaking, my X3 sound more like the Trelab? And the small one you love, sounds like a transistor radio compared to the other 2, on my ADS and homemade speakers... but I may be going deaf from too much music!
Id like the treblab, but compression was really heavy, on bass heavy tracks it would lower the overall volume very significantly i did not like it, i got a mida wildbox and returned the treblab, the mifa killed it. Treblab would be awesome without the heavy audio compression issue. Treblab sounds great on lower volumes though.
@@megakebab1702 true but there’s also the price difference which makes the treblab a better choice , extreme 4 will be at least 300$ ,almost double the price which doesn’t justify the small difference in sound!!!
Beat speakers for work from home? Get some studio monitors! They will dump on any of these speakers. I personally use the Adam Audio T8v and have the JBL 305p in another room.
I bought this to carry out, sadly its still on my desk, I will pickup the SoundCore Motion 300 or Marshall Middleton anyday. Great Sound but this is not portable !!!
It's really not necessary since you can't "hear" it via youtube videos. Both JBL speakers get a huge reduction in bass. The Treblad has a minor reduction but keeps integrity.
You can't compare a 360 google home unpopular type of speaker, to an actual outdoor durable, straight listening speaker with clear stereo.. It's another chinese replica company And the xtreme 4 is on it's way to get back on top of the list, as jbl does
Not shocked it beat the xtreme3 not sure what JBL was thinking doing that speaker, even my Doss XL has better bass than it, but I'm shocked the Treblab sounds on the level of the charge 5, that's the shocking part, these Chinese companies are stepping up their game
Naaah man I love my jbls but, hell For the last year, I've been trying out other brands. And I've got to say they've gothey've got to stay on their d*** toes before they get left w. King is another brand I'm rooting for to catch X10 and D9 are dope, and I can't wait for the x20.
so... the JBL remains best for outside. Treblab is made in China, while JBL comes from Mexico, China, or India. I'm hoping mine came from Mexico, which hasn't been found to be interfering with any other country's security even though they all support russia by buying their oil... If you're looking for reasons for 1 over the other... I wonder which will sustain bumps and dropsies better... I'm betting on the padded one! I have real kick ass home made, and vintage ADS speakers inside!
Jbl xtreme 3 is kinda trash for its size and price.. Lots of chinese brands like xdobo x8 max and mifa wildbox can beat it with less than half of its price and almost same size..
It's actually embarrassing for a company with such a rich heritage as JBL to even be in this sector. Guess the VC owners just want to make money at the expense of dragging their name through the mud
To be fair JBL are just cheap ass tat. How they had the temerity to put the JBL branding on such an item is beyond me. All those decades of building a rep in sound excellence reduced to a shitty cheap portable speaker. Suppose from a business point of view, a cheap portable speaker and headphone customer of today will be high end component customer of the future.

It looks like a replica of the Apple Home Pod speaker.
True. Kinda makes me wonder how that thing would sound.
I just sat it next to my Apple Home Pod. They sound similar... shaped similar. The Treblab is a bit taller. About the same weight. Hmmm??? I wonder.!
The Treblab looks like an Apple HomePod that ran out of the battlefield.

The Treblab sounds clearer to me. Rich clear bass, clear but not too bright highs. Definitely the Treblab!
👊🏾
Already ordered 1.
Me to
$60 😃 Crazy price

Yeah that Masego does go hard!
👊🏾
Dude as a JBL fanboy , i’ll take the L , the Treblab definitely sounds better than the extreme 3 and completely obliterates the charge 5 👍👍
Lol! We'll just have to see how this comment section evolves. 😂
Until you get an extreme 4 and it come back on top😂😂

@@ValentinG23 well i personally am willing to pay more to not get crap...
I rather get the best other than looking at price to performabce ratio...
@@megakebab1702 i get what you’re saying , Jbl’s quality is above most speaker brands !!!👍
which had the most bass
This speaker is super awesome! And sounds unreal good.

💯
The JBL sounded muffled, like you stuffed it the sock drawer before recording... The charge5 was actually closer in high end clarity.
I bought this to carry out, sadly its still on my desk, I will pickup the SoundCore Motion 300 or Marshall Middleton anyday. Great Sound but this is not portable !!!
No max volume test?

I've already added that speaker to my cart 😊

I believe he did exactly just that in this video... heretofore, suck on that. Good day sir!

You almost got me to buy till I saw the IPX4 rating I will stick to my JBL charge 5 because of ip64 rating it has
IP67**
pls do some measurements when numbers are mentioned rather than talking like the rest ...TQ
I love watts you do
The jbl remains the best bro
Jbl extreme 3🎉
OK... just got mine today! Yall aint heard nothing like this!! (except maybe original Apple HomePod)
That xtreme 3 sounds really sucks 🤮
I have kids, so jbl is where I'll stay. Besides, extreme 4 is launching soon.

Actually I've never liked the jbl xtreme 3, it sounds like a dissapointment.
Agreed. However, some people think it's the best out there.
But Boombox 3 is still better
At three times the size and price it better lol
I knew comments like this would come. Lol! It's the "We're gonna keep playing until I win" energy. 😂
@NewStuffTV2 never fails ha ha, great review by the way, I am going to pick one of these bad boys up
Paying $500 for that thing while there’s way better options is diabolical lol
