ARRIFANA BEACH - PORTUGAL | What is important to know before going?

I've just returned from a surf week right on this beautiful beach. What I can say, in April/May (early season) the place is very nice and not too crowded.

i surfed arrifana in the 80ies.. today overcrowded and full of kooks!!! like whole portugal....
