So many gorgeous plants to water and tend to. That nozzle on yiur hand sprayer is fabulous, what brand sprayer is it. I've got an old one and then bought one from bunnings but the nozzle is just those plastic ones and useless. Happy gardening, the summer soltice Is 22 days away the longest day of the year in Southern hemisphere.
Any idea how many succulent plants you have?!! I’ve seen a few of your videos, but I haven’t seen that you have so many plants before right now! 😮🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊
I had the same experience. My Neighbour had his fire drum during winter; next to the fence where my succulents are on the opposite side. Most of the plants that have soot covering them have stopped growing and leaves fallen off. I suggest putting your succulents away from where your wood burner is or even put them in separate room. The slightest smoke seems to affect them. You won't see the result immediately but after a period of time, the succulents will start getting grey/dark look. The soot covering stops the plant from taking in carbon dioxide needed for photosynthesis, especially at night. If they can't eat, they'll die.
I have a question, I have been avoiding getting water on the leaves because I wasn’t sure if they should have water on them. It’s OK for succulents to be watered and the water can go on the leaves? I’m in Illinois, so mine, of course, are indoors.
Easier said than done. I still have to process and test the viability of my seeds. ATM, they are still sitting on my dining table unprocessed. There is however a grower in Canberra selling her succulent seeds. She has a lot of beautiful successful hybrids. Link below. www.floplantcreations.com.au/collections/all-available-items
So I was growing lithops from seed and I noticed bite marks around the bottom of my baby lithops… one night I was inspecting it, and noticed a very tiny worm! Almost microscopic size, don’t ask me how I saw them with my bare eyes but I found a couple crawling on top of a grain of sand. Out of 9 that I managed to germinate, only one survived and a foxtail grass (per my plant app)🫠🤣😭😒
I just love seeing all your beautiful succulents liz
Thanks Suzy. Hope you enjoyed the beautiful plants in this video. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day!
Boy, oh, boy!! it makes me wish I lived somewhere warm!! 🏝️ 🌴
We get frost in winter. The coldest my plants have experienced and survived is -11°C | 12.2°F. Some plants I do bring inside for winter.

Not getting the leaves wet on succulents is a matter of choice. A lot of my succulents are outdoors in rain, hail, frost and sunshine.

Are you selling some of your succulent
I don't at the moment. I mainly grow it for my garden. Thanks for watching.
