I just saw a 65-year-old Lita Ford perform this song live a month ago. She didn’t color her hair, it was gray. She was still hot in jeans and a t-shirt. Her voice was fantastic. Her guitar playing was as amazing as it ever was. The drummer and guitar player in that video are still in her band! I am so happy that in my old age my icons are as awesome as they ever were.
Lita Ford and Joan Jett were the two guitarists for the band The Runaways back in the late 70’s. They were the only ones from that band that made it anywhere. And they were an all female band
Lita was in the Runaways with Joan Jett in the beginning.I was in love with her growin up and I bought a Warlock guitar because she inspired me...bleached my hair too lol.Close my eyes forever is my fave with her and Ozzy.I love Back to the cave...everything from early Lita really.She married a famous asshole and kinda fell apart for a while.The best stuff by her us the old stuff.I took my daughter to see her about 10 yrs ago.Lita is a pioneer with women rockers...timeless.❤

I remember the name way back in the 80's. I don't think she made it big in the UK. I mat be wrong, but I don't recall seeing bill board posters, or adverts in music press tell of UK dates for a tour. She was spoken of here and there. This song and video has 80's all over it, right down to the colours of the lights. I don't remember hearing any music from her at all. So this is very unfamiliar ground for me. Not knowing any other song from her, I couldn't say if this is the norm, or the soft end of her range or the heavier end. Hid I seen this as a rampant teen, there would no doubt be a puddle of drool in my lap, and eye ball bursting out of my face. Hahaha, long time since brains took over from my family jewels as a lead....LOL. The song was pleasant enough, if sounding dated. i know I'd have liked it a whole lot more if it had memories attached. Thanks for bringing this one out from a dark closet, to see the light of day again. If you hadn't, I would never know how Lita looked and sounded in her hey day.

I gotta tell you, your comment about your nephew’s infatuation with her was a typical reaction of most guys back then. And me, I consider Lita the most beautiful guitarist I have ever seen! But there is a close second. Courtney Cox ( Not the actress) from The Iron Maidens ( An all female Iron Maiden tribute band), is a better guitarist and almost as beautiful.
