This rally is a little too fast, too furious for Tom Millner's liking

Apart from the negative comment about public transport - I enjoy travelling on it, and the vehicles/rollingstock have never been cleaner, better than private cars - this was an excellent interview, although I'd have liked Mr Millner to go a bit beyond the 'success' of WOW, COL and WES as that's well known. Interesting that he singled out CBA.

It was a pleasure listening to the interview with Tom Milner, he offers sensible and thoughtful advice for positioning in the markets at this time and for the future, thanks.

7% cash???? My god... I wonder how these guys call themselves professionals... The poor suckers that invest with these guys...
Ive only been investing for 10 yrs and the writing on the wall was so clear. Went into 90% cash and 10% gold in 2019.
How do these guys sleep at night losing peoples money like this..

Cash is trash over long term - you may feel smart this month but there rest of the time you will be eaten up by inflation.

      @@notax1872 It's quite simple, @NOTAX 187.
7% cash basically means they are holding 7% of their portfolio in cash.
The rest is is (generally) in vested in a range of asset classes and securities - listed and unlisted.
I would tend to agree. 7% doesn't seem like a lot, if you claim you have a high cash holding at the moment. Many managers have the ability to go to 20-30% cash or even more.
