One Unit Wonder, Norfolk Southern 1149 West, Piatt County, IL

Here's another One Unit Wonder from Norfolk Southern, as NS 35N heads west. 35N runs daily from Conway, PA down to the East St. Louis area. This railroad crossing is at Piatt County road 1200 East just east of Bement, IL.

At 39 seconds, it looks like about a 300 MVA (300,000,000 Watt/Volt-Ampere) high voltage electric substation transformer. Shipped without the electrical bushings installed to make the car and transformer unit lower in height. Good catch Zachary.
