It's not often that you finish something and you can be kind of proud of it. We Are Trackmania had not only the goal to finally contain some good replays in an universal skillmovie through all environments, it also was destined to be my big footprint in the minds of our community as someone who atleast tried to capture some parts of an important generation of Trackmania players. It began as a little skillmovie about my own skills, grew into a sunrise-environment skillmovie and eventually became a cross-generational Trackmania skillmovie with mostly different players, mappers and styles. 28 minutes sounds quite long, but it was still not long enough to make everyone happy obviously, but that's kind of the spirit movies of these kinds have. If you are in the movie, you have a confirmation of your dedication to the game - definite -, but as this movie doesn't really cover our whole and diverse community, these players form rather an example for the masses: An example of our great competitive and respectful culture that is Trackmania. And that's what the movie is about. It's the scope showing the beautiful side of our favorite game, but still letting the room to explore all of the other things left to see. As I believe the one or other non-Trackmaniac will stumble over it, he shall like what he witnesses and explore the rest afterwards.
I hope the average (or literally lunatic) Trackmaniac enjoys it too! Not only should you blindly watch it ( he he ), but also gather some inspiration for your potential future projects as a movie maker, content creator or mapper! Trackmania also relies on community content and if we keep the ecosystem of fun, competition, entertainment and promotion healthy enough, the community will only benefit from that! So be creative and show us what you got!

The day has finally come. After more than 1 year, I finally finished the classic track minimovie I once started..., but it has evolved! From a 6 minute funtrack video, into a classic map showoff, into a sunrise environment skillmovie and then into a universal Trackmania Skillmovie. The "Movie" in skillmovie stands for cameras, action and fun!
I quite had a lot of difficulties with this child; it was difficult to maintain motivation throughout the project and especially during the last 2 months. You're just taking a look into the project file and you really needed to fathom the amount of remaining workload you had to put into this film. I'm happy I made it to the deadline and yes, I did rush it in the end, but it probably wouldn't have been looking much better if I kept waiting another month.
Anyway, as long as I needed for this film to finish, I still haven't included every player from Trackmania ever. What a surprise! If you are not in it, it doesn't mean you're bad at all; I've been looking for replays of a specific criteria, which excludes replays without close opponent replays (on TMX). So it could mean that you're quite a well driver, for being so far ahead of everyone.

To put it all in a bag, I really enjoyed making this movie. It was a struggle most of the time, but I tend to only remember the fun parts of it all, as well as the endless changing of things. I hope you enjoyed this movie atleast as much as I did enjoy making it. I'm sorry for not writing more about this movie right now. I worked on it two nightshifts through and my head is almost full of unreflected info and empty of ideas about what to write about it. I wish I could've counted the hours I sat on it to brag about it :D .

This is simply amazing, in the intro when you said "Ozon presents your new favourite movie" you weren't lying. The cams, the music and of course the epic runs mash togheter into this beautiful 27 minute piece of pure awesomeness. I could probably watch this over and over and i'd still get fascinated by this. Great work Ozon!
Well, although I think you know what I think about this, I'll say it again - mindblowing work!! I know how much time and effort you've put into this, and I gotta say it was well worth waiting for the final product. This video pretty much outlines everything the TM community has to offer in an astonishing way. Very proud to be part of this video and I really hope it gets the attention it deserved.

Anderson Gutierrez Believe it or not but I do crash sometimes! These fails happened during hunting and I usually save all cool-looking crashes :p

***** great one. wasnt as long termed as i thought it would feel like. good cameras, good balance in between and i like your choices made. the begin was a tiny bit too exaggerated in cases of rotated cameras, too much rollercoaster-ish sometimes, but it became smoother.

That was damn big pleasure to watch it, wasn't bored for even a short moment, I was actually quite suprised that it ended so soon, wanted to see even more.
And as someone before mentioned I really miss more driving styles - stunt, rpg, lol etc. - especially while you decided to call it "we are trackmania" you should involve bigger part of overall community. Still an awesome creation, love it

Yeah I couldn't reply KKPictures, so I gonna explain it here.
I actually thought of including RPG and stunt driving in there, but I concluded that if I would put these two in, the one side of the people would complain that the video is too long (rpg) or that stunt driving is not competitive enough to be featured here (also regarding the fact that literally noone does stunting anymore tbh).
RPG would have been a good addition, but I think that the history of RPG deserves another video, keeping the longer runs out of this video, which tries to hold as much as possible with minimum length (ehhh.. 28 mins xD).
LoL doesn't deserve to be here imo, but that doesn't mean it's not interesting to watch.
You see, I could've captured the entire community, but by that time I have this finished, I will be 30 years old, married and Trackmania 3 has been announced. =b (I am 19 atm)
Maybe someone else can do it better than me in the future... well not maybe - I am pretty sure someone will do it! For my part though, this thing has been an incredible amount of workload which I would never repeat to do again by myself.

Imo, this doesn't deserve to be called "We are TrackMania". For me it is just another compilation of "best players on X" (nevertheless, extremely well edited). Apart from the tracks, skins and teams mentioned in the credits I really missed most of the community's involvement. What about the other styles for stadium apart from the main three, custom blocks, game modes, title packs? Yeah sure, the casual viewer will find this as "hey, that's a cool looking racing game" and he would be right in a sense. However, quite a few aspects which really make TrackMania unique were left out.
Anyway, I really appreciate the amount of time and work you put into this and you did a really great job editing-wise (from audio mixing and graphic design to editing and overall video quality), yet to me it's still another skill video like any other.
Its been 8 years huh.. still such a masterpiece. I wish more people would make more Trackmania content like this
The more there's movies like this, the more I think that TM despite the missing activity, becomes way more awesome from my eyes. I really enjoyed the movie, that is a super huge work. :)

1 year of work, and the result is impressive.
I would have liked to see Hockolicious at the end, because it's most likely the track, which turned the Competition-Scene of Trackmania to what it is today.
Nevertheless, you set Trackmania Video Edits to a new level.

First of all, phenomenal work on the video! Loved all the cams. Everything flowed very nicely. Some incredible runs by some amazing players. Loved how you organized the environments in the video... as I said everything flowed together very nicely. Coast coming right after Valley... never would have thought that would have fit so well, but it did. Also the music fit perfect... and the timing with the shots was spot on. Loved it!
I think the closest I come to being in the video is Marius89's track he built for DBS, which was a contest I ran right before Valley came out. :) I was excited to see that appear in the video.
You've been a mainstay of the community for a long time. I totally understand taking a step back though. It's what I've done myself, and I haven't regretted it. Thanks for sharing your passion for video making with us these past years. Hope to see more from you in the future, even if it isn't a project of this magnitude. :)

I've been playing Trackmania since it was just trackmania, before Sunrise, before World, and it will always be my favourite game, period. I've never cared if I won - I only play because there's something about getting the line just right that never gets tired. Thank you for this - it's really nicely done.
And Island will always be my favourite. Always.

waow.... I'm almost speechless... That was some serious piece of video. Totally mindblown, i wasn't expecting that! It kinda remind me Street Style 3 by KimOhNo, years ago, in the way that it was also way above every other videos of this time in editing terms, even though we had amazing video makers like Dstroy, Blackshark, Evets, Starbuck... Always upsetting to watch this, hard to believe there was a time when the community was active in tm. Unfortunately nadeo were never able to attract new players given that most people had played tmo/s in one capacity or another. Good game wasted but it had its time
M1nuit man, I'll miss the time on island servers or mistral with like 30 guys every evening and all the community stuff from tmf.
I think today the community is still active, but Nadeo split communities with their titlepack idea. TM2 servers are very low populated but Canyon or Stadium servers are pretty popular.
