I took a load to Dallas and I heard walkie talkie jockey from Burleson all the way to Rockwall TX. That's over 60 miles. He broadcasts like he's on a 200 foot tower pumping out 10,000 watts. Hard to believe he's in a semi truck. He was talking about he can talk bare foot 35 miles and with his amp he talks 200 miles.
Idk if I believe 200 miles Around sulfur springs I lost him. What ever he's doing it's working that's for sure.
I can't hear him on the outside end of Dallas on the 30, headed towards Sulpher Springs. But i can hear him from Grand Prarie, all the way down to Crowley - just miles under Burleson.
Hes slamming the 60dB meter here and there.he sounds like this daily in ne corner.

Hard drive talks on a ham radio and tries to tell you it's a Stryker radio. Then he rips you off for "mods" to your Stryker radio that he doesn't even do.

Hard Drive has been running a
Kicker (Amp) Box for years. There is NO WAY that idiot was going to hit all over the US if he was ONLY running Barefoot. Hard Drive is actually running a Barefoot Radio with a LARGE Kicker Box Behind it and at least a 300ft Antenna and that's how he's able to hit multiple states. I've heard this guy in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, clear up to Wisconsin and even out to Arizona and as far as Oregon.
If he wasn't running MASSIVE power the way that he is, Then you wouldn't be able to hear him (Hard Drive) across Multiple States.
He over powers the Channel 19 CB Band and honestly he doesn't know how to shut up either
I'm running a Connex3300 HP with 2 Steel Whip and I can hit 12 miles on the CB that's in my Freightliner.
Mark Sherman is a POS and has dozens of people looking to get there $$$ Back. As far as your theory as of why his signal is so strong is a little off?? Yes he is running a lot of RF but he is not at 300ft!! He is in a part of the country that's 1000ft above sea level and we are at the height of solar cycle 24 that allows some great band conditions... You can talk around the World right now on any band with 10 watts of RF!

I run a cobra 29 chrome I get compliments on my audio a lot build my own beams fix my own amps I do 20 bushells if I want but I usually cruise around 8,000 tho
What id like to know is i went from a 16 watt cobra 29 to a 65 watt stryker 447hpc2 and what id like is an honest opinion on the radio itself. Cuz i cant modify my truck otherwise i would've went with the 955
if you cant do any costume work on the truck then 100 watt radios are all you are going to be looking at for the wiring and fuse box stuff you have to deal with.
Say what you want but the only 4 people on skip actually holding it down is Mud duck 163, Walkie talkie jockey, street Sweeper, and 001 old man in gargae. Everyone else barley is heard. Period.

I live relatively close to "hard drive" along the border of NM and texas. When that dudes on he spills into other channels here. I spoke with a guy who was at a CB shop in my town who supoposedly knows the guy and he said hes running a ghost rider amp with 7000 plus. Whatever it is, how he convinces people its a bare bones stryker running bare foot is beyond me, definetly blatantly obvious dudes running amps and and a ton of wattage.

all the new strykers have problems with the programing in them. And when they go down because of it you cant get them fixed. So you end up throwing it away and getting a new radio.

He’s running a Goose Rider 8 pill that he drives with and old 1x4 . He talked on a 2950 dx tuned down. Dead keyed .05 watts swing to about 10 watts . He put that into a little 1x4 that ran into a comp built Goose Rider 8 pill. I know it makes no sense but that’s what he ran I personally know Walkie Talkie and even helped him a little bit with his set up. Believe it or not that’s what he ran. He was friends with Hard Drive but Hard Drive did not set up his radio
Walkie talkie never had a 16 pill in his truck. He was messing with everyone. He runs a 1x4 into a Goose Rider 8 pill comp built high inductense . He was doing about 1600 watts pep his carrier was 1000 watts swings to 1600 peak Average watts dead keys 1000 and barely moves forward

I own both a V1 and a V2 Stryker 955 and the V2 is an excellent radio. Ya just have to know how to set them up.
I think the V1 is an excellent radio.
Yeah i did not like my v2 at first. Then i seen a video on how to get into the menus for modulation, low power, and high power settings. Keys 1 watt swings 50. Bump the voltage up a ill bit and get 60 out of it. So it's not that bad of a radio. V1's are still better when it comes to doing custom audio mods.

Look his 1 of the biggest problem on CB Radios today. I don't care what any one says. Because every one around here are splitting up and running all different channels for the same reason he will not shut up and runs every one into the ground calling them names and he is the problem no matter how you look at it.

Mark Sheman ( soft drive ) has a Icom 7300 modified for 11 meters with a 10k amp. He’s lives at the Lordburgs rv campground. Where the methheads live. Plus someone posted his prison record about him being a convicted child molester. If mark sheman knew your phone number he would call you and threaten you and call your work place to try and get you fired.

And then you have BANDS all up and down the spectrum, you can talk anywhere any time. from 1.8Mhz up to Ghz. The only catch is, we expect you to identify yourself with your actual callsign that is linked to your actual name, and you probably aught to act like a gentleman. BUT, then you don't have to listen to this bluster and BS keyed up on top of everyone. You have a VFO and you can move on down the band. Come be a ham!

The douchebag in the desert is a scammer and annoying as hell for sure. I wouldn't blame him for the accidents, though. Probably over half the trucks don't have radios in them. I see these drivers with their phones in their hands all the time. I see these guys tailgating and driving aggressive and not driving to road conditions. I have been driving trucks for 25 years, and it seems to get worse every year with terrible drivers.
