in north Carolina the tow truck doesn't have the amber lights on when responding but when towing there on. You should come visit it's nice weather here
I'm from sunny Scotland, I work with my family in a garage and I can say that the tilt decks don't keep the lights on when towing unless there is a 2nd car on the underlift. Speclifts/hook & slings keep the lights on when towing but you don't really see many of them now. The large have/pcv recovery vehicles keep the lights on when towing too. I guess the general rule is that if there is something being dragged behind then the lights stay on. Ps we don't really use speclifts/hook & slings to move damaged cars unless the road needs opening quickly.
Ftm, I live in missouri and in our state our tow trucks are classified as emergency response vehicles so they are allowed red and blue lights and sirens as well as ambers and when responding or towing they have to have all their lighting on
In California, there is no specific law about light usage. The CVC outlines that turn signal lamps, license plate lights, and taillights can be installed 10 inches width at most.
Here in texas usually if they are going through traffic or responding to a big wreck they will have them on. And if they have a vehicle they normally have them on
Palmetto State towing, ever seen them? Or any other towing company? They always use their lights while towing, they can use it while hooking up, or transporting cars.
Well here in Canada I don't know but most tow trucks even if they are on a hook (witch were I live you don't see hooks for tow truck you mostly see flat bed tow trucks)they never have their amber lights on and I wish that they would have there lights on when cars are being towed
You have the lights on at the scene you do respond with them on only if your needed there quickly and lights on when going to to yard if it's a 18 weeler or a oversized load and if the load is wider then the tow truck. In ohio
FTM In the philippines i have two cars years ago my SUV was overheated due to Broken Clutch and then the Tow Truck (Flatbed) The Lights are always on when they are responding and Picking up and Dropping off at my house.
I love fords but it is a 6.4 and blow up and when You go to put on the heads the hole engine cracks. I would say get a 1995 to 2003 7.3 diesel or 2011 to present 6.7 diesel but not 2004-2008 6.0 or 6.4 diesel
