Mr Starc bowled a very good 17th over. His figures were mostly spoiled cos of 19th
17th over holds its importance in the context of the game
Also in the first 2 overs he conceded 22, 5 out of which were extras, the ball that went over the keepers head for 4 and a boundary that came of a drop catch. So 9 runs out of 22 were unfortunate.
Exactly my point it was only his 4th over went miserably bad but otherwise it was great watching him bowl one catch was too dropped in his bowling he will need some times and then he will be unplayble

KKR has to bring Sakariya by hook or crook he could have been a solid substitute tonight his change of pace and slower ones would have worked effortlessly tonight a pacer is lacking seriously.
But I don't think Sakariya is good at death, I woul go with Vaibhav or Harshit for death overs
In order to bring Sakaria, they have to sacrifice Varun or Suyash, which I dont think they will do after 1 match
He's good in the middle and that will allow starc and harshit to bowl last four overs two each

Idk why would Simon doubt on Sunil Narines bowling action as he has worked hard for years on his remodeled action with help of Carl Crowe and now as he has been as effective as before (2012,2014) Simon said he chucks. I would recommend Simon to have a look at Narine’s stats in last 10-15 months in leagues around the world and find any different
Look at his record in Hundred where the conditions are not suitable to spin Sunil narine swings the ball there. Humble request don’t say Sunil’s adaptivity be a chucking problem there are umpires there would get paid to have a look at his action and from 2021 Sunils bowls with half sleves tshirt he got nothing to hide its just that if you bowl with a new action 1 million times any spinner would get his bite back.

See the videos...he is indeed chucking. There's a reason Sunil Narine isn't playing International cricket. You know what he does..when there's a suspicion he would go back to his legal throw..and after things cool down he nowadays goes back to his illegal chucking delivery.

2 years ago same Tripathi smashed Narine Chakrwarthy and Russell over covers and point and mid off, I don't why he was trying to hit everything in the leg side

KKR's pace unit is weakest unit of this IPL...Gambhir will definitely regret his decision of buying Starc for 24 crores... can't believe he didn't even try to buy ferguson who was best KKR pacer during 2020-21... Bowlers like matt Henry, willey, umesh yadav were available but we bought starc, Atkinson, chameera 🤦🏻
Also stop opening with Narine he can't play short ball and will keep eating 2-3 overs of powerplay.. let salt and v.iyer use the powerplay...

As a kkr fan i hope what u said about starc becomes wrong but yeah i mean it was shocking to see narine open the innings and the worst thing is that the kind of pitch that we witnessed.

Absolutely wrong brother they are surely not the weakest. I should remind you that a PACER itself defended 7 of 5 opposite to guy who just hit 8 sixes. They might have inexperienced pacers but they are all quality and I'm also sure that starc will be back to his good death bowling. He was not at all bad In powerplay except from 5 byes that went. He was swinging the ball well bowling good areas. He bowled a good 17th over which was crucial from Game pov only the last over made his Stats look that looking.
@@basitsheikh001 guy defended 7 of 5 is the only pacer we have... Starc past his prime u can never count on him... Russell might be a wicket taker but he always goes for plenty... Our bench strength is not good either... So either we have to chase in every game or must post total of over 200 otherwise we are done...
starc is a quality bowler yes 24 cr is too much but he will deliver and dushmantha chameera is highky underrated and i agree with your opinionof opening with venky and salt/gurbazz depending upon the surface and not buying ferguson was justified because he just concedes too many runs very rarely he bowls well i think they should have gone for coetzee,hazlewood or madhushanka

Curator is giving arrogant statements that he will not make spin friendly wickets because he will not give home team advantage. He makes flat pitches and says i am making sporting pitches. A curator wont have that much authority he certainly has backing of CAB with Dada's brother as CAB president.

Would have made him dance around with the ball whizzing past his ears. If everybody is going to bowl at his pads, he will hit them till the end of time. You know it. As an MI fan, you know Russell struggles vs Bumrah and his pace. He also struggles vs Rabada.
Dont be harsh on bhuvi. Eden pitch really makes batters look like gods. Its too easy to bat. Not taking anything away from what russel and klassen did but dont bash bhuvi for it...

He has scored 60 runs off 27 balls he has faced against Rabada in IPL, and got out just once (in 2020 where he was absolutely shit and Rabada was at his best). In T20I Russell has scored 16 runs off 10 balls with 0 dismissals.
It's sort of a common misconception that Russell struggles against Rabada. And I understand where it comes from, that absolute corker in that super over.
