所殺之人 報怨為子(印光大師說故事（又名《靈岩故事》）　印光大師著)
民國八 年，北通州王芝祥，字鐵珊，一子很聰明，很孝順。大子有神經病，鐵珊心中望此子承繼家聲。二十一二歲，已娶妻，生一女。一日，病重將死。鐵珊痛極，呼之 曰：「某某，汝既來為我兒子，為何此刻就要去？」其子瞋目，作廣西口音曰：「我哪是你兒子，我就是第十四個人。」說畢，即死。先鐵珊在廣西作兵備道時，計 殺降匪頭首十三人。先用極愛厚之法以安慰之，請其吃飯，尚請有大名之人作陪，每人犒洋二十四元。云：「日間甚忙，來不及與汝詳談，到晚間來，當與汝等各安 職務。」此十三人，不知是要殺他，反拉其厚友同去，意欲以己之情面，求其亦派彼一好差事。至晚去，則進一門關一門，伏兵於華廳。其人既來，鐵珊抽佩刀砍， 則伏兵同出殺之，得十四個屍首，亦不知是何姓名。豈知其人即為其子，徒用二十餘年教育之勞，至死反瞋目呵斥，不認鐵珊為父。大率世之兒女之因，總不出「討 債、還債、報恩、報怨」之四義。此子係汝宿世欠彼債者，債清即去。若還債及報恩者，則可得其孝養耳。（續編上 ．覆德暢居士書民國 二十三年）
