I remember one time we stopped in Minneapolis on Southwest with no plane change. They gave us the option to get off the plane and use the restroom or get food. My husband did so, but I was too scared lol to do it.😂
When I was at San Jose airport, Chicago O’Hare does show up on their Southwest screens. They also include all destinations of the legs Southwest flies to.
Interesting, it seems that at Southwest hubs, all of the cities a certain flight stops in will show up on the board. I’ve seen that at Love Field for instance. But since ORD isn’t a SWA hub, I guess only the official destinations are listed.
Awesome update on Southwest’s ORD service! Seems like it has been going a lot better for them now more gates in T5 are opened. Also that would have been so funny if you booked the flight from ORD to MDW via Baltimore and Albany. Almost make a complete loop on one airplane.
I remember about 20 years ago US airways & delta having a handful of one stop flights. I believe delta may still have a few flights where the number continues but you'll have to change planes. For example, the first flight will be domestic then continue on to a bigger plane for an international flight.
I have experienced the no-plane-change a year ago last summer--TUS-LAS-IAH after visiting family--the routing is on my channel but unlike you, its not high quality. Being that you're the household aviation expert, when the time comes to visit family in upstate NY, do your parents come to you as the resident travel agent, asking you to research flights? I believe the last time you traveled to this area, you flew to HPN. Obviously you didn't take Amtrak to Chicago from Champaign! During the layover at BWI, did your family switch seats as well? Has your internship at Rockford ended?
does any chinese airline offer service to ORD other than cargo i know Hainan and China eastern did and cathay pacific is going to restart service to Hong Kong
Whats nice with Southwest's through flights is staying on the plane you can switch seats to be up front the 2nd leg
10:45 aye my airport and city!!! I can see my house from up there lol!
Super excited for this one and not disappointed! Great job!
That engine sound during takeoff gave me deja vu from when I was flying back from Iceland on icelandair’s 737 max 8. I sat right next to the engine!
That must have been a great experience!
It was!@@ASAviation

Definitely, I felt this time around that SWA ops are a bit smoother from T5. ORD-MDW would have been funny indeed!
