thanks so much -- all tips are great! By the way, Sloan Park also has a great "autograph alley" where the Cubs walk (or get a golf cart ride) from the practice fields to the stadium. They rope it off when the players are finishing up. We've gotten a bunch of good autographs there over the years, including such greats as Billy Williams
Thanks for posting this, I try to be respectful, and have done the keep using that sharpie line a few times, and a KC Royals prospect about 4 years ago asked me for the card I had him sign, and he said I'm signing the back of the card too....thanks for the tips
thanks nomah! this video is so helpful, i've never been to spring training and im a kid so I'm not quite sure how to get autographs, and this video helped a lot!
one last thing, i'm planning to bring in a binder with all of my cards to try and get autographs, but i'm not sure i'll be able to bring it in to (peoria) will I be able to?
Great tips, thank you! Did you ever post the second video on great autograph locations at Spring Training parks? I'm headed there with the kids next week!
Great video helpful tips! Quick question! I will be going to Tempe Diablo stadium for my first ST and was wondering if I can get any of the visiting teams autograph and how? Thanks for the video again!
Yes you can! The easiest way is to go to the visiting teams, practice fields before the game, at their stadium. If that doesn’t work, and/or you want more, just get into the stadium as early as possible, and stand near the visitors dugout where there is no netting - if you can find a spot like that - and ask them as they come in after playing catch right before the game. U want to be as close to Dugout as you can, but not behind netting.
If you check out the video about getting Cactus League autographs, it will give you lots of tips. I don’t have anything specific for the Giants, but you will find that video helpful!
Thank you for the video I have been wanting to ask for autos but have just been to scared to come off as rude so i only been asking for pictures. my pfp for example with Super bowl MVP Dion Branch i had a all the stuff for an auto but at the last second i changed to just asking for a photo because I didn’t want to be rude 😅
That one is tricky because he’s on the Cubs now and the Cubs are so incredibly popular. If you are really determined to get him, you could figure out where the players parking lot is at Sloan Field, and stand outside with it at 6 AM or 7 AM before a home game. You will also probably be able to get him if you can figure out where their practice fields are, but I just don’t know that park very well. Another strategy would be to stand as close to his dugout as you can, and just hold the sign up, and yell at him as he comes over after warmups. Most of the time they will sign something custom because they know that that is a real fan and you’re not going to resell it. Let me know how you do!
Yes, my experience since he’s been on the Rockies is he signs right near the dugout just before spring training games. He usually doesn’t sign on his way into the stadium. I have also gotten him after the game as he’s exiting, and I’ve gotten him during practice before the game on the practice field.
PS if you look at the video I I posted last night, it will give you very specific information about Salt Riverfields, and how to get autographs there, I would recommend you watch that one as well. Let me know if you get him!
No i would not say use my sharpie lol u dont want sharpie on the ball 🤣 trust me i get iver 2 thousand sigs every spring u just have to know what to do and where to go obviously if i said what i do the spot will get blown up 😂
Blue ballpoint pen is best on a ball. The point I was trying to make was a sharpie is better than a black pen. I did share quite a few good spots to wait in my cactus league video. Thanks for watching!

These tips are fantastic. I typically mail items to spring training, I've had a lot of success this way as well.
Thank you very much! That’s a great idea, I’m going to try it.

You should! As long as you carry it and don’t put it in a big bag.
Great tips, thank you! Did you ever post the second video on great autograph locations at Spring Training parks? I'm headed there with the kids next week!
Specifically, going to Goodyear, Peoria and American Family. Got your good tips for Talking Stick.

I hate the seller guys at Spring Training. I'm in my 40s, but love getting autographs for myself. Can't imagine ever selling one.
Same!!!
Thank you for the video

I understand, but I don’t think it’s rude. They expect it. As long as you’re cool about it they are usually happy to do it!
I really want Dansby Swanson to sign a poster I made for him, any tips even before games such as outside stadium?

Awesome! Good luck in your quest
@@NomahsSportsCardsthank you, I really hope I can! Last year I was able to snag a Cody Bellinger auto at Sloan
I bet you’ll get it!
Does Kris Bryant usually sign? Hopefully I can get him
