From my understanding of what was said on breakfast stream, this was all improvised, which makes the camera work all the more impressive. It really always feel like the right subject is focused on to maximize the comedy!
It wasn’t entirely improvised. They were having an actual argument behind the scenes but then it devolved (evolved?) into improvisation once Stephen had realized this is what he was waiting for to film a tech crew bumper and started recording.
Everyone talks about "MY AMBIANCE!" and "Bumper for Stephen :(", but can I say MC is an absolute mood during all this? Him yelling "Old Faithful's not here today" and "WE DON'T NEED A GIMBAL" just breaks me.
Even better that Klinkit was able to have her birthday celebrated on camera in front of people. As a tech person, she’s said that her birthdays are usually lonely affairs, so this one made her especially happy.
Despite the improvisation and some exaggeration in front of the camera, MC’s confirmed that this isn’t far off of what their dynamic and arguments are like.
I've known Bassonify and Klinkit for one bumper, but if anything happened to them, I'd spray (for no donations to charity) everyone in this room and then myself.
