Germany - Berlin Wall

The "East Side Gallery" is the best-preserved and - stretching 1.3 kms - the longest remaining part of the Berlin Wall. Starting in 1990, just a year after the Wall fell, 118 artists from 21 countries redesigned this former border wall into the longest open-air gallery in the world.
On a drizzly day, I managed to capture bits of the gallery, flying low over the park on the graffiti side, but high, above the building rooftops, on the Mural side to avoid the crowds of visitors and the traffic on the main street there. But a close-up of few murals I snapped from the sidewalk are appended, including one of the most symbolic moments of the Cold War: the ​‘Socialist Fraternal Kiss’ between Leonid Brezhnev (USSR leader) and Erich Honecker (East German President).
