Thanks for the quick and easy programming instructions, and not drawing it out because you like being a show biz potential. I always forget to hold the set key several seconds when setting optimal temps. Thanks for cutting the chase and making it simple.
Thanks for making this video friend, really helped I’m an hvac technician and some stores we service use this thing I had never seen it before and the alarm was driving the people at this store crazy, thanks to your video I was able to go into setting and adjust the AL and fix their issue saved my day.thanks again
Hi Tex Thanks for this video. After just a few short minutes I figured out what I was doing wrong! Inkbird customer service isn't the best and neither are the tiny instructions.
I bought this exact same Thermostat and put it on my Brand New Arctic King 7 cu.ft. Chest Freezer that I got on sale from my Local BiMart for $149.99 a couple weeks ago....I had to set it about 10 degrees f. cooler than I wanted it..26 degrees f on the Thermostat for an Actual 36 degrees f. but it keeps a steady 36 degrees in my new Refrig ...and I am a Happy Camper.
It keeps true to the degrees on my chest freezer. I usually ferment my beer at 68 degrees with the probe attached to the ferm bucket. I have a temperature sticker on the bucket to measure the temp separate from the inkbird and they match. I have also used it to cold crash at 37 degrees and it worked pretty good. Its a pretty good system if you want to use it for fermenting, cold crashing, or a keezer.
This will probably be a dumb question. But I have a refrigerator that iv'e been wanting to use for more accurate temperature control. Do I just take the power plug for the fridge and plug it into cold, and that's it..? And then set the controls as indicated in this video? Seems too easy
I’m trying to use this with a bucket heater to keep my horse trough warm / luke warm or like room temp so not hot or anything but heater gets out of control so needs something like this to turn it on and off or like stop it or alert me… Might be a stupid question but I cannot get it to switch back to heating
Sorry for what may be a dumb question, but does this replace thr original temperature control board in a kegerator? My issue is, my temperature control board in my kegerator is defective, which means it doesn't trigger the system to cool the kegerator. Unfortunately, the manufacturer stopped making the parts I need, so I need another solution.
I’m interested in one of these for an electric smoker I have. It adjust the temps with an analog dial and it sucks. I have no idea how these things work….seems like I just plug my smoker into it and then set my temp through the digital device. That right? Does this thing take batteries or?
I bought a willh1 temperature outlet and its been a nightmare. All I want is the thing to turn on when the temperature goes over 85 degrees farenheit. But for some reasons I cant get it to work. Can this thing do that. I have beem entering 2 different temperatures the LB at 85 ( to turn off when it goes under that) and the HB at 110 ( for anything under that, but nothing. PLEASE HELP. Its for my refrigerators fans.
I'm pretty sure it will work for 85 degrees. I use it for my beer brewing equipment and it works great, however people also use this for reptile aquariums. I know this controller will work for these high temps. Just follow the same setup instructions. It has a Cooling outlet and a Heating outlet. It also depends on what temp you actually want. If you only want 85 degrees then you might just want to connect a heat element to the heating outlet. It will turn off once the temp is at 85. You can use both of the outlets as long as you know the temp you are trying to achieve. I hope this helps and thanks for watching
So im gonna return the Willhi Temperature controller, this thing is of by atleast 20%. I have the thermostat sticking out of the Rv and its under a shaded area. In the morning when its like 70 degrees this thing reads like 96 degrees, all I want this thing to do is to turn on when it goes over 75 degress period. I have an outlet with 4 small fans and then thats going to the temperature controller. These are snall fans so Im certain it aint overheating it. HELPPPPPPPPP🤣
manuel meza Did you get an Inkbird yet? They work awesome for controlling temperature. I grow tomatoes in a grow tent, this thing turns the oil heater on when the temp in the tent dips below 22°C, then turns it off at 27°C. I don’t need it to run a cooler because I’m in Canada, and it’s cold enough here!
@@tombryant4518 Yes, I did and so far so good. We have a 6000$ RV Electric/ Propaine fridge that came with 4 small fans which weren't cooling the RV enough, I replaced them with 4 bigger AC fans and connected them to a different temperature sensor. The problem was that you had to set 2 temperatures for some reason and the thermostat was of by 20 degrees or more, i ended up returning it and got the inkbird and WOW its like night and day. I only have to set one temperature which is Ideal for my setup. Im extremely happy with it. Simplicity has been the key here.
There may be an obvious answer to a stupid question but what about the internal thermostat that most chest freezers have, dial type stats. Is there or will there not be a conflict with the two?

Bought one yesterday on Amazon, it arrived today and seems like a good quality unit.
Easy to set up in a couple of minutes for my fermenter fridge.

awesome
Finally a good description of the set up and use. Thanks.
Straight to the point. Well done.
Great quick and simple video thank you very much. I’m going building a DIY cold plunge so this is my temp control appreciate it.
OMG, the music. GAH!
Mine is in C. How can I switch it to F temperature?
I guess not
Go to cf and change it from c to f
Thank you for making this video, it's helped me allot

awesome
Great and to the point!.
Thank you for the video, it was very helpful. I think it would be much better without the music in the background.
Thanks, guy! Super helpful.

Do you use the deep freezer to ferment as well, or just for the kegs?

Hi and Great Video, You have help me so much !! Cheers Paul

Great info, thanks for the video bro! What cartoons ya watching? 😂
Thanks for getting right to the point

Will this work for turning on a fan in case it gets too hot?
@HouArtFishing yes Sir it will. Just set your desired temp and it has a cooling outlet as well as a heating outlet. it can cool or heat up.

Hi,
I have 2 inkbird controllers.
I can't keep my AC from freezing up.
My cooler size is 8x10x7.
Is this to big of a cooler for a 10,000 btu AC?
How about if I hook up a fan in the cooling socket ? Is there option for my fam to turn on and off?
There may be an obvious answer to a stupid question but what about the internal thermostat that most chest freezers have, dial type stats. Is there or will there not be a conflict with the two?
I have not had a conflict at all. I have my freezer set to the lowest temp possible and it works fine.
Can this be configured to a cooling fan to kick in if it’s too warm?
How change to number for my litter
Is there a posibility for night -day temperature
Can you set in Celsius ????
I have never tried to set in Celsius. thanks for watching
I set my temp for 78 degrees but my water in my aquarium is at 74. What's going on?
Mine came with Celcius. How to change it to Fahrenheit?
Keep clicking the menu until it shows CF and select F or C
I need to switch mine to Fahrenheit
is there a way to change it from c to f?
This is the most complicated unreliable piece of equipment I have ever used
🤣
Me too
Cheap 3rd world garbage.
This is why things need to be built in America…by English speaking Americans.
Does it heat and cool?
Will this work for heat mat for snake
I believe it does. I have seen it used with reptiles.
Didn't really explain much did you?
you missed ca
Turn off the damn music would be nice
Can’t hear you !!! Music is to loud omg
