  • ON 03/31/2021, I WAS CONDUCTING A FIRST AMENDMENT AUDIT AT RUGER CASTING IN NEWPORT, NH WHEN I WAS APPROACHED BY SECURITY AND WALKED AWAY. THEY CALLED THE NEWPORT NH, POLICE DEPARTMENT WHILE EXERCISING OUR 1ST AMENDMENT RIGHTS ON PUBLIC PROPERTY. A SERGEANT ARRIVED WHILE STATE POLICE CIRCLES AROUMD THE AREA INTIMIDATING ME TO LEAVE.
I WALKED AWAY FROM THE SERGEANT AS THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO GIVE DIRECTIVES AND I DIDNT WANT TO HEAR IT. I ENDED UP LISTENING TO HIS COPSPLAINING BS AND HIS DIRECTIVES IN WHICH I TOLD HIM I DON'T ANSWER QUESTIONS. HE COULDNT GET THE HINT AND TOLD HIM THIS IS NOT A CORDIAL CONVERSATION.
ANOTHER UNIT ARRIVED ALSO A DETECTIVE WHEN THE OWNER AND HEAD OF SECURITY APPROACHED ME INTIMIDATING ME AND ALSO GIVING DIRECTIVES TO NOT GO ONTO PROPERTY WHICH IS HEAVILY GATED AND SECURED. I CIRCLED AROUND THEM SHOWIMG THE TACTICS DONT WORK ON ME AND TOLD THEM TO LEAVE ME ALONE AND GO BACK TO WORK.
THEY ENDED UP HIRING A DETAIL OFFICER TO STAY AND SECURE THE PREMISES WHICH MAKES NO SENSE SINCE THEY HAVE ARMED SECURITY.

What’s important to note is that although these employees are not being civil, the “auditor” is doing the same thing. That combination can only serve to escalate the situation. Remaining calm and respectful, imo, is the key.
Also, the behavior of Auditors should be above reproach, especially if it results in a lawsuit, because that alone could result in the loss of a case. If I was a juror, or any other juror for that matter, could reasonably believe the Auditor was just as guilty for the outcome as those he was auditing.

@@goodcitizen3780 Never say no one my friend that is complacency. That is one of the many reasons a gun factory has security. I know I did that job at that specific factory for 7 years. Do you know that site or what atf will and will not do if a situation is not documented and you could have prevented it sooner or have more information for law enforcement to use to find a thief... No you don't but they can shut it down till they feel like giving ruger the green light. BY THE WAY if their FFL is suspended not only does that factory get shut down but every ruger facility in america that builds guns. Thats hundreds of thousands of RUGER employees now out of a job because you did nothing about one suspicious person. If you are a security guard would you assume there is reason to be suspicious of a guy recording your site watching the goings ons as well as the positions of the cameras??? By the way now that he has posted this online he now indirectly could aid a thief... sure he did not do it but someone else certainly can use this footage that he took. I know a lot of things he compromised good thing he was never at the warehouse. WOULD YOU BET THOUSANDS OF LIVELYHOODS ON YOUR ASSUMPTION?
Springfield armory thought in 2013 one of their truck drivers was a very nice guy who would not break a federal law and commit a felony by driving off with 1300 guns... but he did. It takes only 1 idiot man never say never that is complacency and that is dumb as fuck to trust.
If those factories shut down your company looses a contract since they will no longer need your services to guard guns. SO now you ruin the livelyhood of not just every ruger employee in america but you also cost your co-workers a job.

He was anything but calm. He was a rude asshole the entire time and did not act civil one bit. The cop was more civil than he was. The cop asked a question, which they have a right to do REGUARDLESS if a crime is committed. And you have a right to not answer which he did not press the issue when told no questions will be answered. Infact the only civil and CORDIAL individual were everyone but this auditor, who was frankly a total ass. "He doesn't understand what english is", The very definition of cordial is 1. Warm and sincere: friendly 2. Polite and respectful; formally pleasant. 3. Strongly felt; fervent. And civil lets go with civil next 1. Of, relating to, or befitting a citizen or citizens. 2. Of or relating to citizens and their interrelations with one another or with the state 3.Of ordinary citizens or ordinary community life as distinguished from the military or the ecclesiastical. He should not use words he does not understand.

*Great work! Your graphic at the **16:54** mark is 100% SPOT ON, "THEY TRY TO BEFRIEND YOU TO INCRIMINATE YOU"! Don't ever engage in a discussion with the cops, they ARE NOT your friends. If you answer one question it only leads to more questions. If anything, answer a question WITH A QUESTION OF YOUR OWN. Play that game with them but if they're investigating you for ANYTHING and want you to explain your actions DO NOT SPEAK TO THEM!*

One of the early things cops get training on in cop school, 'pretend you are the citizen's friend so they talk to you and volunteer information that incriminates them for the DA'. Any lawyer will tell you, never talk to the police they are not there to help you. If you are breaking no laws they shouldn't be there.

so a "good", successful police officer must learn to constantly lie, be deceptive and walk a very fine line separating legal from extrajudicial.
i wonder how a career demanding such perfidy influences their personal life?
does anyone here know of a book or article that discusses police tactics and behavior in america and how it affects, changes police officers and their families?

    • @DylansPen

@@Zeno_334 We've seen many cops who are so inculcated with lying and lie so often that they lie even when it isn't necessary and also on reports even when they know there is video of the event. And suicide among cops is a thing as well because one would guess some of them think they are actually getting a job to help the public and instead find out the police culture is to lie to, intimidate, threaten, and falsely arrest normal citizens that are breaking no laws, up to and including murdering them.

I thought the point was to educate our public servants and effect change so that our rights will be respected. If there is no repercussions for those who choose to violate our rights, then they just go about thinking that their actions are justified when they're not.

Should do this one again! But this time bring more people with cameras. Also get the public utility maps. That show the easements and right of ways. As they are public land and you can stand there. You should also force them to produce a boundary map showing 8 feet out of their property. They can’t just claim it cause you are on it and want you off it. Have to have it posted and marked. Plus the state DOT plows and maintain and mow that area.

    • @ZazairS7N

Actually they don't. I know the groundskeeper they hire no one mows that land but him. No one plows that land but another company they hire. So no the DOT only touches the road and even then they do not even touch the break down lanes, the people RUGER hires does it. I never once seen DOT in my 7 years working there mowing jack shit. b

After watching hundreds of such company audits I think auditors need to threaten legal action more often. These are rich companies with millions of dollars and if they want to stalk you, intimidate you and lie to police you need to let them know you will take legal action against them. They need to stop obsessing about a guy with a camera off the road.
They refused to leave you alone.
The cops acted like agents for the company which is disgusting.

Yeah because there is nothing different about trying to film a factory for guns... no possible repercussions if this act lead to a theft and the factory did nothing.... No you are right the ATF is a kind government organization that would NEVER shut that place down in a heart beat and see if the factory did everything in their power to prevent a theft... No sir you are right this factory has no business making sure their employees can still work and get paid because the ATF will be more than happy to let them still make guns when they throw the factory's FFL under review and consider shutting the factory down....
Easy to blame the cooperation when you do not need to feed the mouths that work for them.
Also the cops in NH don't get supplemental funding from income taxes. They can only get extra money from details like Rugers, Utility companies for traffic control, festival events, and other things like that. Every PD does this. Part of the reason for this method was because there are smaller towns that use the same PDs. Newport handles croyden, and guild nh as examples. A town PD in NH can easily be a cross jurisdiction since smaller towns do not have their own police such as UNITY.
And his comment about the state troopers was DUMB AS FUCK... State Troopers always use that road, it is the quickest way to get to sunapee and newbury. At any given day I counted the state troopers going by anywhere between 9-12 times before noon. It's a major route through NH it can take you all the way to concord and manchester. And if you take a different fork it will take you to Nashua or Laconia.
And his comments about the old man on him about impeding traffic the old man was right he was wrong. People are not usually paying very good attention when they pull into the RUGER campus and he could have been ran over so yes the guy was impeding traffic walking across the entry and exit lanes over and over again.
