As a Child during the 1960s, SLO flooded quite badly. Homes behind Laguna Lake had water up to patios & porches. A neighbor had a Row Boat to check on people. C.L. Smith School is naturally elevated & was okay.

This is terrible news, hope everyone stays safe. In Santa Cruz people were right in the storm over the weekend taking video, the waves washed part of the road out.

Why does the studio and the anchors look like they are from the 70s?

1:02 - "under several feet" - from this angle, it looks like maybe 12" to 18". Even being most generous, 24".
    That's not several feet.

In 1968 flood my frat brothers rode inner tubes down Marsh St. from Garden St.. Later they got poison oak in delicate places.

I've been there last month, that Chevron cost more than the other ones locally. Nice clean town though and not too busy with people, but maybe it will be during the summer.

I remember the women news anchor from the Santa Barbara news station in the late 70's early 80's. I forgot her name but she used to be pretty hot!

Under several feet of water, but yet the water only goes to the bottom of the wheel on the truck driving through it... sensationalism at its finest

There are many parts of SLO County completely inundated which are currently cut off to access. Homes amd businesses underwater, by several feet. But continue your narrative by all means.
