Unbelievable. I was there yesterday. There may be more than you counted, after I looked at Thomson’s guide listing. And did you notice the number of Amusement Arcades? 4 possibly 5. All appeared lacking any punters. What a lovely village spoiled. The 2 car parks also seemed quite non-welcoming, needing cash only or a quite unfriendly app for payment. No facility for card payments. It’s like Scarborough or Blackpool shifted to the Pennines.
It's a bikers' town mainly, 70% of the trade comes from us, and we love fish and chips
