Hi Rion, I'm a 66 year old grandmother in the United Kingdom and I love watching your videos. I found this one interesting as it shows what it's like to do everyday things in Japan like shopping for furniture. And please try only a touch of the vegemite. A little goes a long way. Take care and may God bless you. xx
Hi Rion, I live in Australia. So cool to see one of our Vegemite jars you received. Just a word of warning…. DO NOT spread it like Nutella or peanut butter. You only need a VERY VERY light spread on bread and butter…preferably toast….You have otherwise been warned 😂
Rion-san, you are lucky to have Japanese bread to put it on. The Japanese white bread is perfectly matched with Vegemite. Use 6 or 8 slice bread (either Yamazaki Royal Bread or Pasco). Toast it until it is starting to brown a little (not still all white). Use plenty of butter to completely cover and finally, as already instructed by others- just smear on the Vegemite as it is very salty.
Great advice when I was first in Japan I took a jar of Vegemite with me and the Japanese friend we were staying with wanted to try some we advised him not to put to much on but he didn’t listen and after tasting it the friend said it tasted like cat pee

Hello Rion! I’m sorry if I wasn’t able to join in the premier earlier. I was not feeling well earlier that’s why I slept (almost) all day today 😂 Anyway, I’m so happy to know that the Japanese Government has projects like this. TBH, there are so many good finds in the second hand stores! You just need to have lots of patience when searching but definitely it will be all worth it 👍 and I got amazed as well on the glass slabs! What a great way to recycle glass bottles beside using it as a vase or water container. 🤩 About the Lemon Mochi, oh my~ that looks refreshing! Also, I am curious what’s the result taste when you combined the lemon mochi to the caffe latte 😂 I have an idea with the orange juice + black coffee but if you combined the black coffee with the lemon and with milk, I wanna know the taste 😂 and about the Vegemite, I haven’t tried it yet but according to my friends who already tried it, some of my friends like it but majority of them didn’t appreciate the taste 😅 Maybe you can do an IG live when you’re going to try the Vegemite? So that we will know your thoughts about it. If that’s okay with you😊 As always, thank you so much for sharing this kind of content to us. Vegimite, i tried it. It has a good foundation for a decent taste since it tries to be "umami" but lack the sweetness (on the salty side). A touch of sugar or honey might make it better 👌
Another interesting video with oishi lunch and tasty lemon dessert on the new table. I am glad the kitchen is ready and after getting such a cute apron I am looking forward to new culinary surprises. Stay safe and healthy! GAO!!!!!
Hey Rion! From Australia here and as a person who likes Vegemite. It's great if you lightly spread it on toast and then grill it with some melted cheese on top. Enjoy!
Dear Rion, that furniture place was really interesting and your apartment is really coming along. About the vacuum cleaner, can you buy Shark vacuum cleaners in Japan, they are cordless and really amazing. A bit expensive, but soooo worth it. Maybe you can put it on your Amazon wish list 😂. Love the new videos going out and spending time in your place too. Keep the videos coming 💜
I know you don't have a lot of $$ to spend, but it's better to buy a few quality items than a lot of cheaper items. Then save up for more of the quality items you may need going forward.
The cold udon noodles you ate looked so yum! Price is so reasonable, love it'. You are really clever (in a good way) I really love how you always do the things you say, having your new apartment is a great achievement! I'm really proud of you Rion-san. Yup, cheap vacuum cleaners won’t last and suction capabilities aren’t good . Invest in a better vacuum and other items that would lasts longer & payoff in the long run. Invest in a Shark (if Japan carries this brand or a top Japanese brand).
I'm in love with that lemon mochi because I'm a big fan of lemon 😂 But for me.. 270 is not that expensive I mean foreigner's perspective not from a rich boy's perspective 😅 Because for me Wagashi is Experience > Delicious I didn't mean it's not delicious but it means something more than just sweets and tea.
