If someone is thinking that the train should run at a speed of 100+ at this type of unprotected track & within populated area, then he is mad.
The train should be clear to run at any speed. It is the stupid people on the track who are mad. They don't mind getting killed because they stupidly believe that they will get their share of virgins in paradise.

Wonderful and compelling...the Indian people have absolutely no fear of the trains...sitting in the open doors (never allowed in the US) feet & legs hanging out - everyone having a grand time. I sort of envy them...A great friend of mine, who is a famous Indian film director (nameless here for obvious reasons) has told me some very interesting anecdotes)
