There is an old 3D animation called Seeds Of Life (from Beyond The Mind's Eye), form 1992. I loved it.

Seeing this video, reminded me so much of the old one.
Though the visual in this new one is vastly far more fantastic, I also feel the older one had a lot more content, and a greater arching story-like theme, with a ending showing a continuing cycle, spreading across the universe.
To me, both have a greatness, in their own right. And both pushes what can be done visually for the times they was each made in. ^.^
