      TDBFP is running with the help of steam which is taken by bleeding of steam from Turbine or exhaust of HP Turbine, so due to this utilisation of steam it should be subtracted during net heat rate calculation, For running of turbine, BFP is main important because if BFP is not available then steam flow to the turbine inlet is not available (lack of water inside boiler), so continuous supply of steam at turbine inlet, BFP should be in running condition that's why we always assumed BFP consumed some amount of power which is generated by turbine. So during Net THR calculation it's power should be subtracted.

    Sir, first of all video is good and I have one question regarding Turbine Heat rate and station heat rate.
    THR: 1797 KCAL/KWH
    Boiler efficiency: 89%
    Station HR: 2019 KCAL/KWH (from above THR/BLR EFFICIENCY )
    Now, coal consumption is 375 TPH & GCV is 4375 kcal/kg for delivering 800 MW.
    SHR= (375 X 4375)/800 = 2050 kcal/kwh.
    My question is why difference of heat rates in these methods i.e 2019 & 2050 kcal/kwh.
    Explain it sir.

    Gross heat rate is always greater then to Net heat rate i think.. But in ur calculate why this value is lower the net heat rate.. Please clarify.

      TDBFP is run by steam extracted from Turbine so this assume as an auxiliary of turbine so we subtract this load during net heat rate calculation.

      Dear sbko assume Kia Jata h, feed water Ka temperature increase krne k lie suitable point se bleed Kia Jata h, jisse water at higher temperature boiler k andar inlet krta h, so water having higher heat content it means lower amount of heat necessary for steam formation.

      Turbine k pass continue steam provide krne k lie BFP Ka running condition m Hona bahut necessary h islie v isko hi less krte h, & if used TDBFP for this steam is extracted from Turbine so this steam having energy is used in TDBFP so this may subtracted during net heat rate calculation.
