Thanks! She has since been swimming 5 times, and she’s gotten good at self rescue on the dock, but we haven’t given her that much more practice when at anchor. She’s a good swimmer though!
Haha yes, I felt terrible intentionally putting her in the water but she swims super well! Still needs some practice remembering the rope is hanging there 😂
Hi guys!! How sweet you miss our channel, I know it’s been a while since we’ve released a new episode, we feel terrible! All is well, we are currently wrapping up a month long sailing adventure to the Channel Islands and Catalina Island in Southern California. Life has been super busy and unfortunately our video editing has been pushed down the priority list. We have tons of footage to share with you guys though, so don’t worry more to come soon! In the meantime, we have been posting regularly on our Patron group, keeping our die-hard fans updated with our current adventures and challenges. You can join us via this link: www.Patreon.com/twothehorizonsailing I will sit down in the next day or so and send you guys an email with our updates and a little more details on our upcoming trip to your neck of the woods! Hope you are well, Sonya, Jack and Fathom
Love the video. But California not much a fan. We had a boat in San Diego for a few years. It was nice but the water was way to cold. And it got way to expensive. So now we live on the Big Island 🏝of Hawaii. Where the veiw is Fantastic. The water is worm. And it isn't California. But thank you for your video's. I do injoy thim. I hope someday ya'll will head south to WORMER WATERS. Lol 😆 So until next week. Aloha and Mahalo from the Big Island 🏝of Hawaii 🏝 P.s. love the cat
Thanks for watching! We have cruising plans starting about this time next year! I totally get the whole California being cold and expensive. That’s the biggest down side to being in San Francisco Bay! It’s manageable when we know that we won’t be here forever, there’s so much to explore! Do you have a boat in Hawaii?
@@TwotheHorizonSailing No. We have a Land Yacht now. Lol 😆 But the veiw we have is awesome and the weather is perfect year round. So diving and snorkeling is the best. The fishing 🎣 is to die for. And it is way cheaper than California. We have a acres of land and our taxes on that is 200 a year .where our house in California is over 5k a year in the desert 🏜 on a very small lot . So you can see why we are here.
This comment is not directed towards these sailors however I felt the need to repeat, if you love the channel islands don't go there. If you must..... Enjoy them Don't exploit them Bring a canvas sack and collect/remove rubbish. Dogbless everyone
I completely agree, the islands are such a special place and it’s because they are so rugged, untouched and protected! We always pick up trash where’ve we go, we end up picking up more trash than what we actually make onboard! We all have to do our part to protect the places we love 💕
This is priceless!!! Love it. Fathom swimming and climbing. That is going to be pet footage to use for sure!
She was pretty pissed at us for intentionally putting her in, but it was a necessary evil!
Omg guys, your cat! How amazing, loved to see it 🤩

I’m a new subby.. The Channel Islands to us Brits are Jersey, Gurnsey and Alderney, with Sark and Herm. Like your vids. JB Portsmouth UK.
Haha yes, it can be a bit confusing, since they are not the only Channel Islands in the world!
Thanks for subscribing!
You did the cat swimming lesson exactly the way I'm planning on with my cat. Lots of apologies and kisses.

Hey you two!
Haven’t herd from you in a spell?
Waz up?

training the cat is a very good move! in your intro you spoke about the anchor sitting on the bottom, but i must have missed it in the video?
The anchor troubles happened in the previous episode while we were at Fry’s Harbor! It was a quick recap of what had happened in the last ep 👌
@@TwotheHorizonSailing oh...ok, then I need to go back one episode :-)
