A lot people don't tell that side of it bro. They always make it seem like they were winning the whole time. I got robbed and shot up a few times myself despite the reputation. Some dudes are wolves and don't care who you are. I got what I dished out. Some of these people I see in the streets today and it's love and respect for the most part. You live and you learn. We've became better people with responsibilities.

Hard for people to understand those Brooklyn Vibes, if you didn't live there in the 80's to early 90's. It was bananas. Best of times and worst of times. I lost so many friends and associates to gun violence and the prison system, I couldn't even name them all without forgetting some. I still have people coming home and not coming home from shit that happened back then.

Red hook resident. I remember crazy eddie store, nobody beats the whiz store, modells, Woolworth. Albee square had 2 floors and a bunch of shops. Mostly clothes and jewelry. Those were the box cutter days. Dangerous times.
