The smolik/sk8mafia beef started here. Smolik is still one of my all time faves but alcohol has really hindered him. Hopefully he steps it up on MNC
I grew up with Smolik. He's got a great heart inside all that too steezy act, but he also unfortunately has become another cautionary tale of the party scene getting the best of him. The whole crew were and still to some degree are partiers, but he let it gobble him up. Sad. Still love ODS but damn, he coulda been one of the greats I think. Most of my skate heroes are sober nowadays. Let's hope somehow Smolik can wake up, get help, and come back to some kind of relativity in skateboarding. Would be sick.
