Exactly, this song is what got me paying attention to the band and buying some of their stuff but it is certainly not for everyone. My sister didn't really enjoy it when I showed her either. It's a relatively complex and progressive song all in all. The main thing that really got me into them later on are the live performances because they are very energetic and just fun to watch in my opinion. Some of their earlier songs are a little more on the poppy side and a little less complex, but it's difficult to know what might click and what might not. From the links T Sakai posted I really like ハンティングサマー / Gacharic Spin, the 赤裸ライアー live video and Gacharic Spin - Instrumental - 2018, but that last one is also quite complex and doesn't have any vocals to latch onto. And in the end it might just be that they are not for you and that's perfectly fine. I am glad you tried them out and enjoyed the reaction. More reaction videos to their music means that there will be a higher chance that new people will discover them.

If you want to try another Gacharic Spin song on Moobag, I'd recommend Tamashii (the live version, not the version played on toy instruments, although that is also super-fun). It's not funky like this one, but for me it has the same sense of joy and energy as Domination by Band-Maid. It was the song that made me a fan. Btw the name is derived from gachapon machines, which is pronounced with a "ch" sound as in "chew". I'm still confused over which syllable should be stressed though.
As you go down this Rabbit Hole of J-Rock, I recommend you try Unlucky Morpheus and their double song of Cadaver/Revadac. The second song is the first played backwards except for the drums and vocals. The video is a trip. See if you can figure out how it is done.
Great song, but probably a bit too much for someone's first Gacharic Spin song. They are well worth continuing to explore, along with side project Doll$Boxx. For Doll$Boxx, I'd start with "Take My Chance." It's a good intro to both bands, imo.

One of the oldest female rock bands from Japan. They seem to be constantly changing things up trying to find their own sound. I liked the Doll Box sound, and some of the pre Doll Box songs are also great.
Love this song and band. It is ok not to like it, we all have our own taste and that leads to the wide variety of music we have today.
