Worked! The important thing to know is that they can go in "any" direction, meaning also up/down/left/right, which would translate to 2 MP moved. So you usually have to jump away 2 fields, get in their line with 1 field and then munch them.
something i noticed is that your scrolled vitality shows up in your HP pool, but it DOES NOT function as actual HP. So even if you have 100 vitality scrolled and you see that you have 140HP in the fight, that 100 extra hp is just visually there and you actually only have 40HP in the fight.

You can't literally pause the game, but by turning off animations and going into creature mode you can buy yourself some more time. Make sure to use your keyboard shortcuts for your spells, this can save you time as well. Other than that, it just takes practice to play this fight quicker. It's a hard fight, try not to get frustrated and take some breaks when you want to!

These solo fights bring back Vietnam flashbacks. Especially when you had to run 8 of chars through these solo fights ._.

I don't understand the diagonals, they always kill me but on your guide they push back then move forward?

Before you make each move, pause and make sure every flame has a place to go. When a flame tries to move but the cell it moves to is full, you die.

Dude, when I'm at this quest, sometimes I lose with no reason. My char just do the Fatal Blow and I lose. Do you know why?
Every spell you cast costs hp unless you kill a flame, if you reach 0 hp you die. This is probably why

Not very good tutorial, you didn't explain well what makes you die to the flames.
