if you want the car to grip less, you can change the drift style to brake. I tested it and it actually makes the car less grippy. I still recommend reducing the downforce, though, and increasing steering sensitivity.
At the moment, my grip car is the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 with track suspension, race tires and pro track differential, with Traction Control on, high Steering sensitivity and high downforce

I use the EVO X Exclusively, thing drives like a boat and is usually 30 seconds slower than the RSR on any race. But I love it. I use the 3.8l Flat 6, with screw supercharger, track suspension, 6 Speed gearbox, and showcase tires and differential. Live tuning is +2 Steering, 0 downforce, traction off, and brake to drift. This is the optimal setting I found that works with my style, I have a few videos uploaded for my buddy in my channel if you wanna see it in action.

i made a wrap for it based on your blue evo in pro street, it really works on it
I had the same problem with my agera when I first changed to it from the rsr which slid a lot but after a few races you get used to slowing down for corners then blasting out of them

The starting Nissan 180SX feels so grippy and can actually take the sharp turns without much effort. The other thing that just feels so easy to drive is the Mazda MX-5 '96.

Nar I got one of these and I found it the same quite annoying as this is one of my favourite cars but cant make it perfect

May I suggest the Lotus Exige?
It grips just as much as your Evo does (as long as it's on max downforce, never tried it with traction control off) but has less understeer. It's basically a go-kart.
The Evo X in my opinion looks more futuristic and better than the IX

My go to grip car is the 95 lambo diablo. Works like a charm.
I would wanna ask if it is possible to see if you could build a 350z with these specific parts:
All ultimate plus into forged engine
Speedcross diff and suspension
Drag tires
You must keep it at 2nd gear to help keep it sliding
Been really enjoying my S2k grip build. It does tend to throw the rear end on tight high speed corners but it seems it's not worth slowing too much in this game since letting the back end slide a little is still faster on the tight corners.

Try the r35 GTR nismo (2017) but u have to smash every billboard in map. And turn traction control on and it takes corners so nicely and is sooooooooo grippy

The first car that I got after the starter is the Civic. And it absolutely refuses to drift. The thing is that if you want it to turn corners fast you have to drive it kinda like a drifty boy. Break before the corner and accelerate hard into it. Once you get the hang of it it feels like a train on tracks. It's really fun to drive

Always thought this car was trash for road races. Off road, on the other hand, is amazing. Just turn steering sensitivity to max and downforce to zero and it will dust most vehicles.

My go to grip car atm has to be the skyline 2000gtr haven't even put all ultimate parts on it yet and it is already 400+ can't wait to see what happens when I finish putting the performance parts in
I find this aswell especially noticable on tight fast corners huge drift delays at time

The Audi R8 is my go to grip car. With the right package it can grip and drift.

1. Go to the palm city raceway
2.go around the track but each time hit the to your right called rusty take off
3. Repeat for a longer time each time you do it you get 4K from 2 stars (not sure if it acc varies from the amount of stars
