Great video. Some of the things you pointed out are definitely artisan style, such as the stitching style. I actually prefer the round corner more. I took leather craft as hobby on the side and the round corner is the hardest to stich. It much easier to stich a 90 degree than round. The leather quality is not really a concern since each batch of leather is different. It should not affect your bag usage at all.

I don’t think some of the things you mentioned are quality issues. Each piece of leather is different… so their characteristics would be different, even the color of dye is the same, each leather absorbs it differently.
Interesting video! I have two mini Evelynes both in clemence, both from the boutique. The noir is softer than the etoupe. The hermes stamp on the etoupe is thinner font than the noir. To your point, every artisan and piece of leather might have slight variations.
Could it be that you have a bag insert in the gold so the leather stayed firm when you poked it? Would you recommend getting bag insert for this bag? I am afraid it takes up too much room in an already small bag.

Thanks for the video 😊！The issue I've noticed on my etoupe phw mini lindy is on the handles. I've noticed some microscopic marks/light dots on the highest part of both handles with minimal use, probably due to the strap doesn't run smoothly on the handles. Not sure if this is common?! I now wrapped the handles with doll twillies.
Hi BL!!! That is very interesting!!! Are the dots white or black? It might be from the glazing on the strap? If it bothers you, then you might want to bring it in to Hermès and have the leather artisan to look at it. I guess wrapping with a twilliy doll is also fine. I want people to know that all Hermès leather doesn’t come from the same cow. Also, the tanning process imparts different characteristics to each piece of leather.
