What a hunk Rogier was! Beautiful man who wrote and arranged music beautifully! I discovered him several days ago and couldn't be happier! 1970s European music is something special, all those film scores and such....
great recording.... Rogier van Otterloo, Pim Jacobs, Rita Reijs and Jean Toots Thielemans occupy a very specific compartment in my heart. Watching Music All In on Saturday night was a "family thing" that I will (hopefully) never forget
Hi Frank, Just to say again that I think this is the nicest version of "Wave", which is one of my all time favourites. I still play this video a lot. Thanks for putting it up.
I sent you an email, but as I checked the Pædia I seen that he was with a band from 48 for seven years apparently til 55 as than he joyned the polydor records, could have been a recording of that band or a first recording of Polydor, I know this guy was buying a bunch of Polydor records in the mid fifties.

Thanks for putting this tune and video up, Frank. It is one of my favourite tunes an this is possibly the nicest version I have heard of.

James Last released his 1st album in 1965 so I wonder, which album it was that you did receive.
Nice comment, thanks.
