Now in modern era, they seem to start the harem again in these kinda drama thru infidelity. Adulterers are everywhere😅. On the other hand, it's hard to get to watch family harmony relationship, love bonding husb n wife in Cdrama.

Everyday you turn around someone being disrespectful. Seems like in their culture they take care of their own. But over here if you gave us a hard time growing up and even in adult hood you on your own. Definitely a difference. I hope to not have to depend on my kids to take care of me. It's a stress on them too. They want to live their lives but can't fully because their parents are at home. Anyway I hope they don't hurt this woman with all the stress they Applying to her life. She seems to have good intentions just don't understand why some of the ppl do bs. And what makes women so weak that we can't move on? Is that man really worth it if you want to take your life? A man should love you not have you wanting to end it all. And the moment you see he doesn't that should give you the motive to move on. After 26,28 you really can't waste time on a relationship that isn't going nowhere or isn't working.
With extebded families living in one roof is not healthy, but it is part of Chinese culture, many people could not help mind or interfer with other 's business. Problems arise when things don't go right in the family.This family life is very problematic. I pity the doctor's wife.
After watching quite a few of Chinese dramas like this, I strongly believe multiple generations living together was a no no. No good for parents!! No good for husband & wife. No good for the siblings who were also living there! It's a terrible culture!
