The cost of creating a game does not stop when coding is done. It costs money to support and maintain a game. Money is something that Ubisoft does not have.
I enjoyed the beta. The fact it was controller compatible and controls were pretty close to what it was on console, made the experience even more enjoyable. I played everyday beta launch to server closure. I'd like to see the game come to fruition. If it doesn't, I'm fine still playing Survival on D1.
The mobile is actually developed by Tencent and has nothing to do with Division, which is being developed mainly by Massive Entertainment (the developers behind star war dumpster fire, so I'd say let other studios takeover the development of Division 3)

Ubisoft is done… they messed up big time with Star Wars. Not even sure I’m interested in what they will producing in future. If what they did with Star Wars is indicative of the new direction, you can count me out.
The best thing Ubisoft can do is finding a way to adapt Resurgence and Heartland as DLC for Div2 or Div3. They can salvage the cost and work put into those projects AND reward the player base they already have by making it playable on PC/XBox/PS5. The constant emphasis on mobile games with 4" screens is lunacy. They're spreading themselves too thin and wasting resources for a market that simply isn't there.
We might be looking at a March 2025 release or later based on financial reports. Last word from Devs says that they have entered a slow period. They weren’t satisfied with the game yet and they will be working to improve the new player experience and make the game flow better. We might be getting a new beta soon to test the new changes of the game.
The Division 2 PC version for mainland China I saw it on TH-cam, it feels different, they have a sidekick assistant separate from the existing skills, which can revive and give buffs, the only bad thing is that it's become a pay to win game.
I love Division and just the Tom Clancy universe in general but lets face it UBI has basiclly killed the whole TC Universe when they canned heartland when they could have just finished it just to move assets / devs over to the cancer that is xdefi which was already finished and release the next week from the announcement. I have lost all hope for anything from that universe coming out of UBIsoft.
I don't play mobile games so unless you can play it on some non-mobile setup I still don't care about it. I'm more interested in the Brooklyn DLC right now since Heartland went south.
In July, in a quarterly report from Ubisoft, Resurgence and Rainbow Six Mobile were both delayed until later in 2025. Per the report, "Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence are no longer expected in FY25 as the teams are taking the necessary time to ensure that these experiences deliver on expectations with optimized KPIs in the context of a demanding yet very large market." With Anno 117: Pax Romana set to release next year too, Resurgence will more than likely be postponed until after Anno's release to be dropped.
Yeah I've been waiting for this to come out. I kept searching for it in the google play store. There isn't even a place holder for it. If they are making changes to release in China also, it might be a while since China doesn't allow any sort of landmarks that are just the U.S.. So the stock exchange might have to be redone completely to something similar. I dunno. But if it's still coming out I can wait for them to perfect it.
Personally, I can't wait for this game! I've been eyeballing it ever since the official trailer came out. Unfortunately, I don't have a device strong enough to run it, now my old I'phone will run it, but it's too small of a screen for me lol. Hopefully, when I get a new phone it'll be strong enough and compatible. Maybe I can hack in onto my PC somehow.
Same issue with the AC Jade mobile game. Played the beta last year. It was quite good. But since then radio silence. Jade is even not developed by Ubisoft but by Tencent. It's a mystery why they don't release anything.
It's crazy how now would be the opportune time for Ubisoft to step it up, because their biggest competition being Bungie is failing horribly and losing players left right and center with Destiny 2. Imagine if Ubisoft just stepped it up and swooped in the looter shooter space and took advantage of the situation to take up more market share and be successful.
Sadly the way things are going at Ubi it wouldnt surprise me that by the time we get TD3 it will be a mobile game anyway.
