Why is it still actively listening and retaining info when muted? I would worry about the privacy issues of it never actually turning off if you don’t close it entirely. Maybe make keybind that turns it off?
Thought about your comment here a bit, probably should be called "standby" instead. It does mute, but it mutes *Shirley* which is counter-intuitive. We need to use the speech detection system to detect wake words, so that's always running. I also just caught a bug in the muting logic anyway, it wasn't working properly in this video, but it should be fixed in the next day or two. Is a mute button something you're looking for?
