Barnard Castle - Part 1. A look around Town and exploring the Castle

Cycling from the Barnard Castle C&MC site we visited the town and also the spectacular ruins of Barnard Castle. In this video we show you around town and learn more about the history of the Castle originally built in the 12th Century by Bernard de Balliol. (We also spent a couple of hours at The Bowes Museum in Barnard Castle - but that is for next time!)

We have drove past the castle a few times never actually been in, it looks an interesting one to visit next time we are there and have a wander through the village as well , enjoyed the video thanks for sharing
