Bleeding and purification exist, so, while Filoni supposedly said something about Anakin changing the frequency/angle of something to make them blue, I guess anything is really possible in this universe. I wouldn't really say it "makes sense", because it's something entirely shrouded in mystery... but I guess that's the explanation.
It seems illogical to me since we know the color of the blade is made by the color of the kyber crystal purification is a purification of a corrupted crystal

My point is, we don't need to try so hard to look for technological explanations/"logical" reasoning, because it's already established that there's a straight up magical transformation that can change the color of the crystal itself (from anything to red, from red to white). My point is just, feeling the need to make it "make sense" is pointless, because there's a magical/mystical process in play that already doesn't/cannot "make sense" in the way we expect.
It was stated by dave filioni that after ahsoka left the jedi order anakin couldn't stop thinking about her on his missions and other things especially when he saw the color green so what he this was he went into her quarters and held her lightsabers and bled the color blue so that he doesn't think of ahsoka.
I’m just gonna point this out Anakin did tinker with the white sabers, but that’s not why they changed color. It’s because he missed soccer and messing with the crystals bonded with him. Therefore, changing their color, all light saber colors. Other than red and white. Are done by the crystals bonding with the person, and after the crystals are bonded. They changed to the color that best fits that person like someone who is more focused on the force is green I’m not 100% sure what color blue represents. I want to say it’s someone who focuses more on combat. I’m not sure. And I don’t really know any other color and what it means all I really know is that the color is past that in red is when you bleed the crystal in white is when you heal a crystal that was bleeding
Also with all the dead Jedi and sabers from the past dead , it’s likely he had the crystal from one of many possible sabers , or he was able to recover the crystal from the lightsaber that was cut apart in Geonosis
i thought i heard that if you connected with a crystal then you can change the colour which would’ve showed that anakin always kept them with him to honour her
This could make sense in the Star Wars universe and some games like the "Jedi:..." series where if a character is smart enough and/or well versed in lightsaber technology they can alter it with some work, like how Cal does it in his games with the 2 kyber crystals being Jaro Tapals original crystal and the other one found on illum in the 1st game
But Cal didn't use the original crystal from Jaro Topal. He used both pieces of the crystal he got in the caves. It split into 2 and that's why he's able to split his saber apart, because there's technically 2 crystals. The one Jaro Topal claimed was crushed by Cal during his vision on Dathomir. The only reason Cal was able to change the color was because: 1 (and most obvious): Gameplay and 2: The crystal "chose" It's color based on Cal's personality (canonically blue). The reason we even have multiple colors is because half the marketing for jedi was being able to make our own lightsaber in the game.
I always figured Ashoka’s crystals were confiscated and Anakin found 2 new ones. And sense his crystals were always blue, they were blue. I like mine better

Well before it was legends and when the expanded universe wasn't mixed with legends there were other crystals available they weren't sentient like a kyber crystal but they had blue yellow and green. As for Anakin himself both he dooku and reven are all parallels of being true Jedi filled with deep compassion connection and attachments in eras where the Jedi were not very compassionate and were deeply detached. The old Republic is a major war arch for a lot of reasons in the story of reven in particular it has to do with mandalorians and the sith. And in the new Republic shortly after the high Republic (skipping the Jedi skisms and sith civil wars) the Jedi stopped being true Jedi too involved in politics and trying to maintain an order that isn't working. now during legends like era sith and dark side users pop up from time to time but luke uses compassion he teaches his students balance and that using the dark side is fine as long as you maintain yourself. I will quote stormtrooper to pirate to Jedi Kyle katarn "remember abilities aren't inherently good or evil... it's how we use them" that has stuck with me the most it comes from the 2003 Jedi knight academy game I tend to make cal look like Kyle or Jaden korr including the yellow or (red) saber veriants
And mostly a artistic purpose showing she's not the same Ashoka that leaved the order and also showing that she's closer to Anakin having both blue she's more of a warrior now like her former master

Are you color blind? Only 1 of ahsoka's lightsabers was ever green. The 2nd shoto lightsaber she got in season 3 was yellow
