I never use to believe in this until I had backslided from church and my dead grandmother appeared to me in a dream. She began to throw stones at me and said i need to go back to church because it is not good to die without christ. She was not a child of God when she was alive.......she died in her sin and she came in another dream a few years later to show me that she is in hell and she didn't want me to go there so I needed to stay in church. I believe God can warn us at times but I will not contact the dead
This is not possible according to the Christian faith. If your grandmother is in hell, there's no way she could escape From hell to come and warn the living.
