I enjoyed it in 1978 with the version dubbed in Spanish as "Brillantina", bought the dvd and I still watch it from time to time with my family. It has been the best musical movie of all times.
Fantastic to watch them all re-enact all these years later it will always be my all time favourite movie one i have passed down to my children and grandchildren 😍🥰
Grease is still the word I can still my grandad rocking side to side when we saw this at the movies, singing tell me more tell me more. while I was eating my ice cream and I ended up with a lot chocolate ice cream down my dress when I was just 5yrs old. I still love watching and think about that. And my gran and grandad. RIP to both of them, but I still love the magical songs and characters who was in the film.
Natalie Tilsley such a beautiful memory ❤️. When I was obsessed with this movie at about 10 I remember my Nan telling me she remembers the night my parents went to the cinema to see it a couple of years before I was born. I love how this movie has touched so many and how loved this movie is by new generations. I introduced my eldest niece to it when she was about seven I was delighted when she wanted to marry John Travolta. Thank you for sharing your treasured memories ❤️
@ThePinkladies18 Thats awesome :) I am so jelous I went to a really boring school in England and we were not so cool. I always wanted to be a pink lady and even had a little pink jacket and I drew letter on the back lol.
Danny: sandy what are you doing here? I thought you went back to Australia Sandy: there have been a change in plans Danny: wow that's...(look at the guys) that's cool baby. You know how it is, rockin' and rokkin'.... Sandy: Danny? Haha he didn't want his friends to think that he. Was not cool
@flyingdamingo I figured that was it, because I remember reading a little about him during the twenty-year anniversary of the movie, and the article talking about how he had had a drug problem and had been diagnosed with clinical depression during the years since the movie. How sad. Well, I hope he had finally found peace now.
I love this moviee!!!!!! I wanna watch it now. But I dont have it!! ANY WEBSITE THAT I CAN WATCH IT INSTANTLY ON WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY OR DO A SURVEY?? PLEASEEEEE HELPPP!!
Yes. It was way too young. But didn't he have a lifelong problem with drug abuse? I thought that he'd gotten help and that he almost made it. How sad. R.I.P., Sir. Hope you can now finally find the peace in the after life that you couldn't seem to find here.
Bianca and Max ❤️ wow that’s awesome! I’m so jealous we never did grease when I was at school. My niece played Frenchy in her school play and had great fun. I hope you have a wonderful time I’m sure you will rock the stage! Think Pink 💕
Yes, I believe he went through many times of beating the addiction, only to come back to it. He sadly chose the drug over the ones he loved. Perhaps, his death is a cautionary tale of what NOT to do.
@icomeup2urKnees How sad. Just what is comforting for me to hear about, too. I keep hearing about so many people that die from addiction to pain killers, and guess what? I have a sister that's addicted to pain killers, but now has substituted that addiction for alcohol. She probably is going to die from it, also, and there's nothing I can do about it.
Well a lot of us are jealous of you. The 50's were long gone when I went to high school, and it was completely boring. English schools have always looked cool. (and of course there's that H. Potter boarding school vibe that never went out of style) lol.
jeff died on the 27 may from an overdose. He had had a history of tablet abuse. He died while fiming a film but i dont know its name sorry .try widekia or something .
I'm not quite sure if "Grease" would have become such a success without "Saturday Night Fever" being released six months earlier making Travolta the ultimate shooting star of the time.
I enjoyed it in 1978 with the version dubbed in Spanish as "Brillantina", bought the dvd and I still watch it from time to time with my family. It has been the best musical movie of all times.
this is still so much fun to watch, after all these years...
I love watching Grease anytime!
I love the grease songs and I get so sad when Danny and sandy get mad and upset and it makes me almost cry
Fantastic to watch them all re-enact all these years later it will always be my all time favourite movie one i have passed down to my children and grandchildren 😍🥰

R.I.P Jeff Conaway A hickie from Kenickie is like a Hallmark card, when you only care enough to send the very best!
I would LOVE to have seen the Grease movie cast playing their roles in the Grease broadway show, with Doody on guitar and Putzie mooning people XD
it's so sweet that they reunite the cast with each other to see their friends again

I hadn't had any idea that Jeff Conway had died recently, either. What happened to him?
"Your a sick man Pulzie!" I still remember that scene X| and it was not good

They need a grease 3 to show what happened to sandy and Danny and rest of the group
SylvanSalmon they should've had a sequel like life after school or a college sequel
John kind of looks like Elvis
LUCKY-you live in 1D territory!
How sad. He almost made it, didn't he? Oh, well. RIP, Sir.

Am I the only one notice that kelly ward was the most handsome of t birds except john travolta?
Yes, I believe he went through many times of beating the addiction, only to come back to it. He sadly chose the drug over the ones he loved. Perhaps, his death is a cautionary tale of what NOT to do.

@stitchesful I think it was drug related but not 100% sure

Frenchie was played by Didi Conn.
Pneumonia, Sepsis was what caused Jeff Conaway's death.
RIP Either way. :)
Drugs he was on celebrity rehab and had control but then he started back up again and kicked the buckey.
I liked Jeff Conway. Thought he was very hot.
