Literally the first horror game I've played where im panicking at the slightest noise despite having a fully loaded revolver and 2 frag grenades. Frictional games has truly out done themselves with this game.
Fully agree. You feel so vulnurable, and the fact that you're not just jumping from level to level like in previous titles means that shooting the beast is just a waste of resources, which are scarce. You don't want to shoot because you dread having no ammunition left. With all that comes with that.
This is the first Amnesia game I’ve played- and lemme tell ya this is a masterpiece all-around. Absolutely haunting soundtrack, eerie WW1 atmosphere, and the sound-design will always make you want to collapse in fear. I put everything mentally just to beat this game, and my god the story is impeccable. Props to everyone at Frictional Games for another amazing game. Give it a solid chance, and you’ll enjoy it. 🖤❤️
Me hiding from the monster in the dark under the strategy operations table on shell shocked mode when this absolute banger comes on. 🔥🔥🔥 (Genuinely though this game is so good, truly a nightmarish experience) Funny story: I had looted parts of the arsenal and I began to return to the safe spot, I was in the munitions storage near the area where you transition to the office quarters, unfortunately, for some reason I failed to notice the flickering lights, probably because I couldn’t hear the monster. When I turned the corner the monster was standing outside the tunnel facing towards the arsenal exit, it wasn’t doing anything, despite me being about 3 meters behind him, I froze and aimed at it, ready to shoot if it turned, but after about 20 seconds it just said “aight imma head out,” and went back into the wall. Very scary, but very funny :)
The Beast is said to hate light, but if you make too much noise, it will emerge when the light is still on. Yes, that includes the areas next to the safe room, and eventually in the safe room itself.
In the dark he can literally just come out at will and roam freely though. In the light, only if there’s a sound. And he’ll stay out for a shorter time.

Very creepy and eerie. hope they add a new story dlc, I got hook up with the story specially the previous amnesia series from TDD to rebirth
Honestly The Bunker's short campaign feels more like a DLC for rebirth.
@@sirisaacclarke4964It was
@@IGNACIORIGINAL it's not, but it was initially a DLC, yet later sold as a stand-alone game.

This sound gave me goose bumps, just excellent.
It's saying a lot that Amnesia: The Bunker is the scariest game that frictional, the kings of horror games, have ever created.

He will never spawn in the safe-room, though. Just outside.
